ENGLISH MONTH CELEBRATION 2025๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿ“–

Theme: English as a Global Language: Bridging Cultures, Connecting the Worldโ€™โ€™

The whole month of November was filled with excitement in all activities where Tizon NHS enjoyed contests, and these were spoken poetry, oration, poster making, slogan, quiz bee, and spelling bee.

Today, together with Tizon Elementary School, we successfully celebrated the culminating activity of English month with the highlighting of the PABASA and Book Character Parade, where elementary and junior high school students coming from all grade levels transformed into their favorite characters. It was a vibrant celebration of imagination and literacy, showcasing our diverse worlds and characters that bring books to life.

This year's English Month serves as a reminder that language opens doors to countless opportunities, from storytelling and speeches to reading and performing. We explore new words, express our ideas confidently, and discover the joy of reading and writing. This month inspires us to become better communicators and lifelong learners!

That's a wrap on the second quarter Portfolio Day! ๐ŸŽ‰ We celebrated massive wins, overcome tough challenges, and saw incredible growth across the board. Cheers to all the effort and success this quarter brought. Time to carry this momentum forward!

The successful event was filled with excitement as we welcomed our Samar Division CID Chief, Sir Glendo Carido, who shared his encouraging and inspiring message to the supportive parents, to our determined learners, and to our active Tizon NHS teachers and staff.

Our school was filled with greatness as we celebrated this day with the presence of our supportive Brgy. Officials led by Hon. Dexter Uy and Brgy. Palencia for sharing your resources we used during the event.๐Ÿซฐ

Our school would like to thank all who participated in the second quarter Portfolio Day, especially the parents who continue to share your time in this day of celebrating your children's success, the learners who did their best in meeting all the tasks, to all teachers and non-teaching staff, and our School Head sir Francisco J. Penaranda and Department head Ma'am Myla Ross Mastelero for your unwavering support. To the grade-level host led by teacher Mary Jean Ecle, thank you so much for making this day a successful one.

Celebrating the Spirit of Scouting! ๐Ÿ•๏ธ ๐ŸŒŸ

Last week, we proudly honor the Scouting Movement โ€” a celebration of leadership, service, teamwork, and adventure!

To highlight the spirit of scouting, several activities were organized such as:
PATROL FLAG AND YELL MAKING
FIRST AID
WATER CONSERVATION
MARIA WENT TO TOWN
TREASURE HUNT
SURVIVAL GAMES
BAMBOO COOKING
EGG COOKING
FIRE DRILL.

Scouting teaches us the true meaning of discipline, unity, and love for nature, shaping young minds to become responsible and compassionate citizens. ๐ŸŒโค๏ธ

Through our United Nations celebration, students learned the importance of global cooperation, respect for diversity, and working together for a peaceful world. A day filled with colors, culture, and compassion!

Theme: "Promoting Peace, Unity, and Global Partnership".

Octeber 24, 2025 in the afternoon, Tizon National High School learners, faculty and staff started the activity with a parade of Nations. The program started with a prayer given by teacher Jeffrey Alan Isanan and followed by the singing of the National Anthem conducted by teacher Rene Rosales. The program started with a warm welcome message given by Sir Francisco Peรฑaranda Tizon NHS school principal. A very heartfelt global talk was shared by Rubelyn Rosales, who gave the highlight of the event. The successful celebration ended with a closing message given to our ever-active Department Head, Ma'am Mayla Ross Matelero, Ph.D and a film showing was followed after the program

It was indeed a day of Unity and Success!
