CAPSU Intramurals 2025: A Celebration of Spirit and Excellence

With the theme “RISE CAPSU: Advancing CAPSUNIAN Spirit Through Sports and Cultural Excellence,” the Capiz State University Satellite College held a three-day showcase of talent, teamwork, and unity.

The event opened with electrifying performances in the cheerdance and sports dance competitions, igniting energy and pride among CAPSUNIANS. The excitement continued on the courts, fields, and arenas with thrilling matches in basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, chess, and athletics, while creativity shone bright in the visual arts contests.

More than just a competition, the Intramurals fostered camaraderie, discipline, and school pride. It proved once again that CAPSU is not only home to champions in sports but also a community that values culture and excellence.

RISE CAPSU: A Celebration of Talent, Tradition, and Togetherness

Yesterday, the CAPSU Culture and Art Festival, RISE CAPSU, brought the campus to life with its vibrant celebration of the theme “Advancing CAPSUNIAN Spirit through Sports and Cultural Excellence.” Students, faculty, and staff united for a thrilling showcase of talent, pride, and community—made even more special by the collaboration of SICAD (Music and Dance) and IPG (Indigenous Peoples Guild). Together, these groups infused the festival with rich cultural depth and artistic energy. The festival’s cultural contests dazzled audiences—from the powerful performances in the Vocal Solo and Vocal Duet competitions, supported by SICAD’s musical expertise, to the soulful renditions of Classical Kundiman that honored timeless Filipino melodies, guided by IPG’s dedication to preserving heritage. Creativity soared in the Radio Drama contest, where teams used voices and sound effects to spin captivating stories, while the Street Dance competition electrified the crowd with colorful costumes and energetic routines blending modern and traditional moves, a vibrant fusion made possible by SICAD’s choreography and IPG’s insights into indigenous rhythms.
