A Season of Hope and Harmony: Paskuhan sa ASHI Senior High 2025
The spirit of hope and togetherness brightly filled the Amaya School of Home Industries (ASHI) Senior High School as it successfully held its Paskuhan sa Senior High 2025, a colorful and meaningful Christmas celebration that brought students, teachers, and school leaders together for an evening of joy, music, and shared purpose.
One of the highlights of the celebration was the inspiring Message of Hope delivered by Mrs. Norielyn C. Narciso, School Principal IV of ASHI. In her message, she encouraged students to remain hopeful, resilient, and committed to their dreams, reminding them that Christmas is not only a season of celebration but also a time to strengthen faith, kindness, and compassion toward others.
The event officially marked the opening of the much-awaited Paskuhan with heartwarming Christmas presentations by the Senior High School faculty, setting a festive tone and igniting excitement among the attendees. The celebration became a symbol of unity as the entire school community gathered to honor the joy and meaning of the Christmas season.
The program was spearheaded by various student organizations and clubs, led by the Language Enthusiast Club (LEC) under the guidance of advisers Mr. Roy Justine D. Ballesteros and Ms. Stephany Cenizal. Their leadership, together with the collaboration of other organizations, ensured the smooth and successful flow of the event.
The STEM-YES O Club, guided by advisers Ms. Razel Sevilla and Mr. Ivan E. Aguila, played a vital role in the preparations and ex*****on of the program. Significant contributions were also made by the Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) Club, under adviser Mr. Adonis Mhel Pasco, as well as the Technical-Vocational and Livelihood (TVL) Club, led by adviser Mr. Edgar Jaquez. Serving as the Overall Chairman, Mr. Pasco ensured the orderly flow and overall success of the celebration, highlighting the strong cooperation among ASHIโs diverse student organizations.
Adding excitement to the event were the various booths set up around the venue, offering fun games and showcasing studentsโ talents and skills, particularly in baking, with cupcakes and other pastries prepared by the learners.
One of the most anticipated highlights of the night was the Carolingan sa ASHI, where Grade 11 students from different sections formed chorale groups and filled the venue with their melodious and heartfelt Christmas carols. Grade 11 Alvarez emerged as the champion, followed by Grade 11 Del Pilar in second place, and Grade 11 Paterno securing third place.
True to the spirit of Christmas, the celebration also became an avenue for sharing and compassion. Students were given the opportunity to grant Christmas wishes for their less fortunate classmates. Selected beneficiaries received gifts and grocery packages, bringing them not only happiness but also renewed hope and encouragement during the holiday season.
Gratitude was likewise extended to the eventโs sponsors and contributors, including the food and refreshments provided by Grade 12 Estrada for their Community Outreach activity, as well as the preparations made by the HUMSS Club, which greatly contributed to the success of the program.
Overall, Paskuhan sa ASHI 2025 was deemed a resounding success through the collective efforts and unwavering support of the entire Senior High School faculty, led by Mrs. Elianeth M. Caringal, SHS Coordinator, and Mr. Joseph G. Labuguen, Assistant School Principal II. The celebration stood as a testament that at ASHI, Christmas is more than a festivityโit is a meaningful gathering that strengthens hope, unity, and the true spirit of giving.
