Is online tutoring effective?

The short answer is 'Yes, absolutely,' but there are a number of caveats if you're comparing it directly to in-person tutoring. Proper technology is no longer an issue, meaning that online tutoring is effective when it uses effective teaching practices in general.

Advantages of Online Tutoring

1. No risk of catching/transmitting illnesses such as colds and flu.

2. More Flexibility in commencement of course schedule, time and class duration. Saves time to travel for tutoring classes.

3. Full Individual attention in 1 to 1 class or one to few short group class.

4. Safe and Secure

5. Class Monitoring by parent
