Character Trait of the Month: Courteous
Courteous means yielding my rights and privileges so the grace of God may flow through me for the benefit of others.
True courtesy is more than good manners—it is a Christlike attitude of putting others first through kindness, humility, and hospitality. As Romans 12:13 reminds us, we are called to meet the needs of God's people and practice hospitality. The Shunammite woman (2 Kings 4:9–10) beautifully demonstrated this by willingly preparing a place for Elisha, showing honor, generosity, and thoughtfulness.
May we choose to be courteous in our words, actions, and decisions, allowing God's grace to flow through us as we serve and bless others. 🤍
