Another chapter, another challenge. It's finally summative test season, where all the lessons, late-night reviews, and endless note-taking will be put to the test. It may be stressful, tiring, and overwhelming at times, but every effort we make today brings us one step closer to our dreams.

To all my fellow students, let's stay focused, believe in ourselves, and never give up. We may not know every answer, but we can always do our best. Remember to study hard, get enough rest, and trust the knowledge you've worked so hard to gain.

Promoting Awareness, Building a Safer and More Responsible School Community ✨

The BKD Club continues to take meaningful steps in promoting awareness and positive values within our school community. Through the placement of informative posters around the school, our members help spread important reminders and messages about safety, discipline, and respect.

From promoting a smoke-free and vape-free environment, preventing bullying, sharing menstrual health and hygiene guidelines, and raising awareness on other important concerns, these efforts aim to educate and encourage every student to practice responsible actions and show care for one another.

With commitment and teamwork, the BKD Club remains dedicated to creating a school environment where students are informed, respected, and empowered to make better choices.

Ensuring Safety Through Unity and Responsibility

Safety is a shared responsibility that requires teamwork, commitment, and active participation from everyone in the school community. Before the start of each school day, our BKD Club members proudly extend their support by assisting our school guards and barangay officials in conducting inspections to help ensure a safe and secure environment for all students, teachers, and personnel.

Through their dedication and cooperation, our BKD Club members continue to show the importance of discipline, awareness, and service. Their efforts reflect the values of responsibility and care for the entire school community, proving that even small acts of support can make a meaningful impact.

Together with our school guards, barangay officials, and the whole school family, we continue to promote a safer, more organized, and protected learning environment where everyone can feel secure and ready for a productive day.

Maligayang Araw ng Kalayaan, Pilipinas! 🇵🇭

Ngayong June 12, 2026, ginugunita natin ang ika-128th taon ng kalayaan ng ating bansa. Pero ang kalayaan ay hindi lang isang ala ala sa nakaraan — ito ay pang-araw-araw na pagpili.

Bilang kabataan at miyembro ng BKD, ang ating kalayaan ay makikita sa tatlong bagay:
•Kalayaang pumili ng drug-free at healthy na buhay.
•Kalayaang magsalita nang may respeto, hindi pang-aapi.
•Kalayaang tumulong at magmalasakit sa kapwa estudyante.

Sa gabay ng ating Tagapayo at Pamunuan ng Paaralan, patuloy na isinusulong ng BKD Punta NHS ang isang paaralan kung saan lahat ay ligtas, nirerespeto, at may pag-asa sa kinabukasan.

Mabuhay ang Pilipinas! Mabuhay ang kabataang may paninindigan!

Barkada Kontra Droga - Punta National High School in Action

The Barkada Kontra Droga of Punta National High School attended and actively participated in today’s Anti-Bullying Campaign in accordance with DepEd Order No. 006, s. 2026.

BKD officers facilitated lectures and discussions for fellow Punta NHS learners, focusing on the definition of bullying, its physical and emotional effects, and the importance of respect, empathy, and bystander intervention.

As student advocates, BKD reaffirms its commitment to building a safe, inclusive, and drug-free school environment. We believe that preventing bullying and preventing substance abuse go hand in hand — both start with informed choices and mutual respect.
