Today, we were blessed to celebrate the Holy Mass at St. James the Greater Parish —Tanjay City, presided over by our Dumaguete Catholic Schools Superintendent, Rev. Fr. John Renil F. Quiliope. The mass was beautifully animated by the IHA choir.
Among the beautiful reflections shared by Fr. Nil in his homily were:
“It is not what we do once in a while that shapes our lives, but what we promise to do in our lifetime.”
“Our starting point matters less; what is more important is where we end up.”
“Only a person who is faithful to herself/himself is faithful to God and others.”
Today reminds us that faithfulness is not measured by occasional good deeds, but by the consistency of our choices, our promises, and our commitment to God. We may not always have the perfect beginning, but with perseverance and sincerity, we can choose to end our journey closer to Him.
May we remain true to our promises, faithful in our responsibilities, and sincere in our relationship with God and with one another. 🤍🙏
Happy Sunday!
Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam!
