The 7th College-Wide Student Research Forum of Tangub City Global College carried the inspiring theme “Student Research as a Catalyst of Change: A Beacon Towards Academic and Community Progress.” This event served as a platform for students to showcase their innovative ideas and meaningful studies that contribute to both academic growth and community development.

Congratulations to Kimberly Rebuya and Abby Kate Sanchez Detalla for representing the Institute of Teacher Education (ITE) during the 7th College-Wide Student Research Forum April 8, 2026. Their dedication and excellence brought pride to their department and inspired their fellow students.

Both representatives, who are BSED-English students, achieved outstanding recognition as they won Best Poster, while Kimberly Rebuya also received the award for Best Oral Presenter. Their research title, “Modern Adaption of the Mangkukulam Myth: A Comparative Study of Literature and Film,” under the guidance of their adviser Mary Honey T. Quilab, MAEd, stood out as a remarkable contribution to literature and cultural studies.💙

Yonting, a BSED–Mathematics pre-service teacher from Tangub City Global College (TCGC), proudly secured Second Place in the 3rd National Teacher Education Quiz Bee – Institutional Level, held on March 21, 2026, at the Carl E. Balita Review Center in Ozamiz City, with the theme “ASEAN to the World,” under the guidance of her coach, Christine Joy P. Miano, LPT.

This remarkable achievement reflects her dedication and academic excellence, bringing pride and honor to the institution.

In observance of the Civil Service Month celebration, classes will be conducted asynchronously from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM on September 1, 2025, to allow the academic community to participate in and honor the activities scheduled for this important event.

Regular classes and school activities will resume at 1:00 PM.

The retake schedules for the Qualifying Examinations for 1st and 2nd year ITE students are now available.

The exams will still be conducted at Annex Building. Please be reminded of the prescribed dress code during the exam.
