Before they learn to write, they learn to play‼️ ✨
These fun pre-writing activities help strengthen little fingers and build the foundation for writing skills. From tracing lines to playing with shapes, every little movement matters.
Pre-writing is all about improving grip, control, coordination, and confidence—without any pressure. Because learning is always better when it feels like play‼️ 💛
One scribble at a time, little hands grow stronger.

LCBA Kids + Blocks = Learning in Disguise! 🧱👷♂️👷♀️
Watching them stack, knock down, rebuild… it looks like play. But Proverbs 22:6 is happening: “Train up a child in the way he should go.” Blocks are one of God’s tools for that‼️
WHY BLOCK PLAY MATTERS ⁉️
1. Blocks Build Minds, Not Just Towers 🧠
Every block placed = problem-solving, spatial reasoning, math concepts. They’re doing pre-engineering while laughing☺️
2. Blocks Build Character 💪
When the tower falls, they learn resilience. “Try again.” When they share blocks, they learn patience and sharing. Heart training‼️
3. Blocks Build Community 🤝
Block play is rarely solo. They negotiate, collaborate, communicate. That’s social-emotional learning in action.
4. Blocks Reflect God’s Order 🔨
_1 Corinthians 14:40_ — _“Let all things be done decently and in order.”_
Building requires planning, balance, structure. Kids are imaging God the Creator who made the universe with order.
5. Blocks Release Stress & Develop Motor Skills ✋*
Grasping, stacking, balancing builds fine and gross motor skills. It also lets little bodies regulate big emotions through play.
Every block stacked =
- Hand-eye coordination
- Focus + concentration
- Cause and effect: "If I move this, it falls!"
- Patience: "Let me try again."
1. BRAIN DEVELOPMENT: Blocks teach math, science, engineering concepts early!
2. MOTOR SKILLS: Grasping, stacking builds hand muscles for writing.
3. SOCIAL SKILLS: Sharing blocks = learning to negotiate and collaborate.
4. RESILIENCE: When towers fall, they learn to try again.
5. CREATIVITY: No instructions needed. Their imagination leads‼️
Lord God, Thank You for curious minds and busy hands. Let our kids grow in wisdom and stature.
As they build with blocks, build character in them too.Teach them resilience when things fall. Teach them teamwork. Let every tower remind them: You are the Master Builder of our lives‼️Give me eyes to see learning is play. Help me facilitate not just supervise. In Jesus’ name I pray amen, amen & amen, hallelujah ❣️ 🧱🙏🏼

❣️ TINY HANDS, BIG DREAMS 🌈
Welcome to LCBA Play School, where learning feels like play‼️
Enrollment now ongoing ‼️
CLASSES WILL START ON JUNE 8,2026
✅First backpacks, first friends, first “I did it!” moments ✏️🧸
✅So grateful for our LCBA Play School teachers who make school feel safe.
✅Play. Learn. Grow. Repeat 💛
At LCBA Play School, we believe the first years matter most. Through stories, songs, crafts, and prayer, we help little ones build confidence, curiosity, and character — all in a Christ-centered space.
To our Play School teachers: thank you for the patience to tie shoes, the creativity to turn lessons into games, and the love that makes every child feel seen. You’re shaping hearts, not just minds. 💐
Dear Lord, watch over our Play School children. As they learn letters, numbers, and new friendships, fill them with joy. Keep them safe, healthy, and eager to discover the world You made. Asking you Father God, give parents peace as they leave their little ones in our care. Let every goodbye at the gate turn into a big hug and “I had fun‼️” story after school. Bless this new chapter. Also, grant our Play School teachers extra patience, energy, and wisdom today. Let their classrooms be places of laughter, kindness, and growth. These we pray in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, amen, amen, & amen, hallelujah ‼️ 🙏 😇 💞 🫂
