NMSC School of Graduate Studies

The School of Graduate Studies of Northwestern Mindanao State College of Science and Technology successfully conducted the SGS Research Capability Training-Workshop on “Humanizing Qualitative Data Analysis: From Organic Transcription to Ethical AI-Assisted Thematization” on May 30, 2026 at the NMSCST Convention Hall, featuring Dr. Liezl Marie B. Dagondon, Graduate School Faculty and the Director for Curriculum and Instructional Materials Development, as Resource Speaker.

The workshop equipped faculty members, graduate students, and researchers with practical and emerging competencies in reflexive transcription, human-centered coding, ethical AI integration, and qualitative data thematization—further strengthening the institution’s culture of research excellence and innovation. Through this flagship SGS program conducted every semester, participants continue to develop enhanced research competence, critical thinking, methodological rigor, and responsible research practices responsive to contemporary academic and societal demands.
