In celebration of Filipino Food Month 2022, the Office of Socio-cultural Affairs, in partnership with the Office of Student Activities and Development, initiated the Food Photography Contest during this ARSO Festival 2022 with the theme "Pagkaing Filipino, Susi sa Pag-unlad at Pagbabago".

The goals of this event are to encourage students to showcase their photographic talent and skills, as well as feature the best Filipino dishes.

"NILAGANG BABOY OR PORK NILAGA"

Nilagang Baboy is one of the simplest dish that you will ever encounter. It’s just meat boiled water with vegetables like string beans, pechay, potatoes, and fruit like saba.

Nilagang Baboy or Pork Nilaga is translated as boiled pork in Filipino. This is a soup dish commonly served for lunch or dinner on regular days. Nilagang Baboy is eaten with steamed white rice and is best served with patis (fish sauce) and siling labuyo (birds eye chili).
