CALL FOR GENS CUP JERSEY DESIGNS

The CICT Council is now officially accepting design submissions for the upcoming Gens Cup Jersey.

All interested CICT students are encouraged to showcase their creativity and contribute to the design of our official Gens Cup jersey. The submitted designs will be presented during the upcoming CICT General Assembly for viewing and consideration.

Please be informed that the Cheerdance Tryouts originally scheduled for tomorrow will be moved to today, August 27, 2026, at 5:30 PM.

The schedule has been adjusted to allow participating students to go home tomorrow and accommodate their respective schedules.

We humbly appeal to the students of UNM to extend any form of assistance or donation to our fellow BS Biology student, Angel Urbena, whose family was greatly affected by a devastating fire incident on August 18, 2026.

Any amount or form of support, no matter how small, can make a meaningful difference as Angel and her family begin to recover and rebuild.

This call for assistance is in line with the Supreme Student Council’s “Bayanihan in Action” Program, promoting compassion, solidarity, and collective support for students and members of our UNM community in times of need.

Your kindness and generosity will be deeply appreciated. Thank you for standing with our fellow student and her family during this difficult time.

In times of hardship, no one should have to face the struggle alone.

Please be advised that students will not be excused during tryouts. The facilitators and the faculty in charge will announce their availability accordingly.

Please take note of the following guidelines regarding the required supervision setup during the tryouts:

If no facilitator is available:

A representative of the event and the Faculty-in-Charge must be present.

If no event representative is available:
The facilitator and the Faculty-in-Charge must be present.

Cancellation of Joint Tryouts:
The joint CET vs. CICT tryouts are cancelled.
CET and CICT will conduct their respective tryouts simultaneously.

Please ensure these guidelines are followed for your safety. Thank you!

📢 𝐓𝐑𝐘-𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓

Please be informed that participants for Badminton, Pickleball, Table Tennis, Lawn Tennis, Sepak Takraw, Basketball, Volleyball, and Football are advised to bring their own equipment. While equipment may be available for the other sports, not all equipment can be guaranteed since two colleges will be conducting try-outs simultaneously. Thus, participants are encouraged to bring their own equipment to ensure availability.

For Visual and Literary Arts, participants are required to present their respective outputs to the designated Faculty-in-Charge for evaluation.
