Are you passionate about music, movement, and performance? The JPENHS Thunderline Marchers are now holding open auditions for new DLC members!

📅 Audition Date: Friday, July 18
🕐 Time: 1:00 PM
📍 Venue: JPENHS Grandstand

We are looking for talented and committed students to join the following sections:

🎀 Twirlers
🏳️‍🌈 Color Guards
🥁 Drummers
🎼 Lyrist

Who can audition?
All interested JPENHS students from all curriculums with dedication, discipline, and a drive for excellence in performance.

What to prepare:

- Basic routines or skills relevant to your section
- Be in proper training attire
- Bring your own instrument/equipment if available
- Water and towel for hydration and comfort

Be on time, bring your energy, confidence and show us your passion! BRING BACK THE BEAT!

If you’re interested in joining, this is your chance to learn the basics, sharpen your skills, and get ready before the official audition.

✅ No experience needed
✅ Just bring your energy and commitment

Do you have a passion for music, performance, and teamwork? Have you ever wanted to represent our school in parades, competitions, and special events? If so, the Drum and Lyre Corps (DLC) is calling your name!

We are excited to announce that the DLC is currently recruiting students who are not only eager to showcase their talent but also committed to being part of a united team.
Why Join the DLC?

1. You can build frienship and be a part of a supportive, creative community.
2. Students who join this organization will receive an extracurricular award.
3. You'll excused from class when there are events such as parades and competitions, both within and outside the school.
Recruitment starts this week, and we’d love for you to be part of our growing team. No experience is required just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!

Unfortunately the Club Fair today was Canceled due to bad weather that was not forseen. As much as we hate to miss out on the opportunity to feature our goods and meet with everyone, we all want to ensure the health and safety of all guest attendees first. We hope to bring the DLC experience to you all at future events, so keep an eye out for updates! 💙🦋

The Drum and Lyre Corps is more than just a school organization. It is celebrated with a vibrant spirit and passion for music during the club fairs. We offer small but valuable items such as pins, keychains, or any souvenirs that would honor the pride and art of the corps. Such items make great souvenirs or gifts and also serve the purpose of showing support for the DLC and its objective of reaching out through music and performances.

But guess what? That is not the only fun there is in store! DLC will also play take outs and such where participants can win exciting freebies as well. It’s a perfect opportunity to learn about the corps, engage in friendly rivalry and get exclusive prizes. Be sure not to miss the opportunity of passing by their booth and acquiring some remarkable items to stand out and try out the energy and the spirit of unity that surrounds the DLC during the club fairs!

PARA SA KABATAAN ✨

The Drum and Lyre Corps (DLC) of Jacinto P. Elpa National High School (JPENHS) led the motorcade procession during the 11th Children Month Congress, which took place at Barangay San Isidro Covered Court today, November 22, 2024 The DLC performed a musical performance with the theme "BREAK THE PREVALENCE, End the Violence: Protecting Children, Creating a Safe Philippines;" as a kind of opening to the event. They combined more unique compositions with coordinated motions and played lively music. The group collaborated to create their performance, which highlighted the program's section on every child's right to a safe are throughout the community. 💙✨
