During this National Reading and Filipino Values Month, Sumo-sumo Elementary School proudly celebrates the occasion under the inspiring theme, "Heart of the Nation, Mind in Motion: Upholding Filipino Values through the Power of Reading." We have gathered to promote the love for reading, not only as a key to knowledge but as a crucial means to deepen understanding and appreciation for our inherent virtues and culture; through various literary activities, we encouraged our students to live out the lessons of unity, respect, and diligence that truly shape the heart and mind of a Filipino.

Cabadonga and Councilor/Education Committee Chair Hon. Mary Jean G. Balo. A heartfelt thank you to our division Education Program Supervisor, Doc Irene A.
