๐ˆ๐ ๐๐‡๐Ž๐“๐Ž๐’ | STCTI - SSLG officers actively participated in the ๐‘๐ˆ๐’๐„ ๐”๐: ๐€ ๐˜๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก ๐…๐จ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ฆ ๐จ๐ง ๐‡๐ž๐š๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก, ๐‚๐ก๐จ๐ข๐œ๐ž๐ฌ, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐‚๐ก๐š๐ง๐ ๐ž, conducted under the ๐€๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ๐œ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐‡๐ž๐š๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ƒ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ฅ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ (๐€๐‡๐ƒ) ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐š๐ฆ, which was formally opened by Dr. Janice V. Pagaran-Alcordo. The forum, held at ๐€๐๐ž๐ฅ๐š ๐’๐ž๐ซ๐ซ๐š ๐“๐ฒ ๐Œ๐ž๐ฆ๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐š๐ฅ ๐Œ๐ž๐๐ข๐œ๐š๐ฅ ๐‚๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ซ, provided an informative and engaging platform where student leaders gained a deeper understanding of adolescent health concerns, responsible decision-making, and the importance of awareness on teenage pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. Through the guidance of resource speakers and interactive discussions, the officers were able to expand their knowledge and develop a stronger sense of responsibility as youth leaders.

The participation of the SSLG officers in the RISE UP Youth Forum reflects their commitment to leadership, advocacy, and service to the student body. By attending this program, they are now better equipped to promote health awareness, encourage informed choices, and serve as positive role models within the school community. Their involvement underscores the vital role of empowered student leaders in fostering a supportive, informed, and proactive environment for todayโ€™s youth.

The ๐˜๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก ๐„๐ฆ๐ž๐ซ๐ ๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ฒ ๐‘๐ž๐ฌ๐ฉ๐จ๐ง๐๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐’๐ฎ๐ซ๐ข๐ ๐š๐จ ๐๐ž๐ฅ ๐’๐ฎ๐ซ (๐˜๐„๐‘๐’๐’), together with the STCTI SSLG Officers โ€” Miggy S. Lluvido (SSLG - President), Niรฑo Alexis Dumalagan (Treasurer), and Rex N. Requirme (Assistant Treasurer) โ€” successfully completed the 3-๐ƒ๐š๐ฒ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฃ๐ž๐œ๐ญ ๐‹๐”๐–๐€๐’ ๐“๐ซ๐š๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ง๐  held on November 12โ€“14, 2025 at Brgy. Gata, Alameda Farm, San Agustin, Surigao del Sur.

This province-wide initiative gathered youth participants from one component city and seven municipalities, all united in strengthening disaster preparedness and developing life-saving competencies. Through the guidance of the ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฏ๐ข๐ง๐œ๐ข๐š๐ฅ ๐ƒ๐ข๐ฌ๐š๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ ๐‘๐ข๐ฌ๐ค ๐‘๐ž๐๐ฎ๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐š๐ง๐ ๐Œ๐š๐ง๐š๐ ๐ž๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐Ž๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ข๐œ๐ž (๐๐ƒ๐‘๐‘๐Œ๐Ž), participants were equipped with essential skills in First Aid and Basic Life Support.

We extend our deep and collective appreciation to everyone whose leadership, support, and collaboration made Project LUWAS possible โ€” from institutional partners, youth leaders, and government offices to dedicated mentors, responders, and volunteers.
This includes the steadfast support of Maโ€™am Carolina R. Tidalgo, EnP (PYDO Designate), the dedicated PYDC members, the encouragement of Ms. Airah Jane Mosquera (SSLG Regional Federation President โ€“ Caraga & National Federation Public Information Officer), and the unwavering commitment of our Provincial Governor, Hon. Johnny T. Pimentel, to empowering the youth of Surigao del Sur.
To all organizations, facilitators, and advocates who contributed to this program โ€” your collective effort strengthened our skills, our confidence, and our readiness to serve.
