On August 21, the ๐๐ง๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐จ๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ง๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ง๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ข๐ง ๐๐๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ฌ proudly participated in Tandag Cityโs celebration of ๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ ๐จ ๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ญ๐๐๐ง ๐๐๐๐, organized by the City Government of Tandag through the Local Youth Development Council, together with various youth organizations, schools, and youth leaders at the Vicente L. Pimentel, Sr. Boulevard.
Carrying this yearโs theme, โ๐๐ข๐๐๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐๐ฑ๐ญ๐ฌ, ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐จ๐ง ๐๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ข๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ,โ the day began with the Youth Foot Parade, which brought participants from Tandag City Plaza to the Vicente L. Pimentel, Sr. Boulevard. The program followed with a welcome message from Hon. Rhaniette S. Tan, SK Federation President, and messages from City Councilors Hon. Kharin C. Momo and Hon. John Paul C. Pimentel. The program also featured an HIV-AIDS information and education lecture facilitated by ASTMMC, providing the youth with valuable knowledge and awareness.
The NEMSU Tandag Main Campus USG was also among the beneficiaries of the Tulong sa Organisasyon Project and Nutri-Care Services for Youth, receiving rice and mini grocery packages, along with multivitamin supplements. We sincerely appreciate this meaningful support extended to youth organizations.
Our participation also extended to the marketplace, where the USG set up a booth featuring ID lace keychains, shirts, and other items, providing an opportunity to interact with fellow young people and bring a piece of the NEMSU Tandag community beyond the campus.
For the NEMSU Tandag Main Campus USG, the occasion was an opportunity to bring the university beyond its campus gates and be part of a wider community of young people. In a gathering shaped by different experiences yet united by shared hopes, we are reminded that wherever our paths may lead, there is always a place for us to contribute, connect, and move forward together. ๐
