Scieventurer conducted final and last activity that, they prepared for this school Year 2025 - 2026 , even if it's the last activity—they make the student hype and happy, the game truly made the students entertained and happy that they even got silent for a few minutes due to the determination to win the prizes prepared by the Science Club, you can tell the pure determination of the students within their place, in even though the game was intense the school was still filled with joyful sounds snd laughter, and even if the rain comes on the way the game continues. In addition on this day they give honor to those students that gave their best and won places at the activities this month of September, symbolising their efforts that had been paid of and the result of their hard work.

An octopus has three hearts: two branchial hearts that pump blood through the gills to pick up oxygen, and a third systemic heart that circulates oxygenated blood throughout the rest of the body. This specialized cardiovascular system helps the octopus efficiently deliver oxygen, which is crucial because its blood uses copper-based hemocyanin rather than iron-based hemoglobin for oxygen transport.

Why three hearts are necessary?

Inefficient oxygen carrier:
Octopuses use hemocyanin, a copper-based protein, to transport oxygen. This is less efficient than human hemoglobin, requiring more effort to move blood around the body.

Supportive circulatory system:
The three-heart system provides the necessary pressure to circulate blood effectively through the body and gills, ensuring that the tissues receive enough oxygen.

This incredible 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝘇 𝗕𝗲𝗲 was held yesterday, September 12, 2025, at Marciana P. Catolos National High School. Different sections from each grade level participated by showing their own different skills in science. And with that, we would like to thank each of the students who participated in our program, especially our winners. ✨

Earth is the third planet from the sun and is the only known planet to support life, with about 70% of its surface covered in water. It is not a perfect sphere but an oblate spheroid with a dense interior and is protected by a magnetic field. Our planet, roughly 4.5 billion years old, orbits the sun in a year of 365.25 days and rotates on its axis in about 24 hours, a tilt of which causes the seasons.

Seasons are the four periods of the year—spring, summer, autumn (fall), and winter—distinguished by their distinct weather patterns, light levels, and temperatures. The fastest animal in the world isn’t the cheetah—it’s the peregrine falcon! When diving to catch prey, this incredible bird can reach speeds of up to 240 miles per hour (386 km/h). That’s faster than most race cars!

Peregrine falcons have excellent eyesight, allowing them to spot prey from over 3 kilometers away. They’re found on every continent except Antarctica and often nest on tall cliffs—or even skyscrapers in busy cities.

This bird species almost went extinct in the mid-20th century due to pesticide use, but thanks to conservation efforts, peregrine falcons have made a remarkable comeback. Today, they continue to play an important role in keeping the population of smaller birds in balance.

The world's largest mammal is the whale, which originally lived on land. A whale is a massive sea creature, weighing 200 tonnes and measuring 80 to 100 feet long. A whale's tongue weighs as much as an elephant. Not only that, but the whale is known as one of the loudest animals in the world. Whales can live up to approximately 80 to 90 years on average. Despite their enormous size, whales eat some of the ocean's tiniest creatures, krill, using baleen plates in their mouths.
