Bathala Elementary School conducted a School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) session titled "Capacitating ARAL Tutors for Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Program Implementation" at the School LRC. Organized in compliance with DepEd Order No. 18, s. 2025, the activity brought together teaching personnel and parent-volunteer tutors to equip them with the essential content and pedagogical skills needed to effectively lead tutorial sessions and support early academic intervention. The program officially opened with welcoming remarks from Principal II May A. Oriondo and a statement of purpose delivered by Kindergarten Teacher/OIC NiΓ±abel R. Tadena.
The main training sessions were led by School ARAL Program Focal Persons Angelica B. Sanidad and Jerome Federizo, covering key focus areas including ARAL Reading Plus, ARAL Reading Basic, and ARAL Math. Participants reviewed instructional materials and learned strategies for conducting progress monitoring, check-ins, and teacher-tutor learning sessions. The session concluded with impressions along with a challenge and acceptance segment, preparing the tutors to confidently drive learner recovery and development.
