Tanay National Science High School successfully conducted its 2nd Parents’ General Assembly, Distribution of Report Cards, and Homeroom Parents’ Conference on September 18, 2026.

The activity provided an avenue for the school, parents, and learners to come together, share important updates, discuss academic performance and learner welfare, and strengthen communication and collaboration toward the holistic development of every TanScian.

Through meaningful conversations and shared responsibility, we continue to build a stronger partnership between school and home for the success of our learners.

SCHOOL SAFETY DRILL - LOCKDOWN DRILL

Preparedness is the first step toward safety.

Tanay National Science High School conducted a School Safety Drill – Lockdown Drill to help our learners, teachers, and personnel practice the proper procedures to follow in the event of a potential threat within the school premises.

The drill emphasized the importance of staying calm, following instructions, securing classrooms, maintaining silence, and safely evacuating when the threat has been resolved.

Through activities like this, we strengthen our school community’s readiness and awareness, ensuring that everyone knows what to do when safety is at stake.

TARA NA! MAY CLEANING AT FLUORIDE, SAAN KA PA?

A healthy smile starts with proper oral care!

Tanay National Science High School successfully conducted the “Tara na! May Cleaning at Fluoride, Saan ka pa?” dental health activity on September 16, 2026, in partnership with the Department of Health (DOH).

Our learners were given the opportunity to receive dental checkups, oral health assessment, dental cleaning, and fluoride application as part of the school’s efforts to promote good oral hygiene and overall health.

Morondoz of Tanay National Science High School for his valuable participation in the Tinig at Panulat Para sa Lingkod Bayani: Oratorical Competition (Regional Level), organized by the Civil Service Commission Regional Office IV in celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary.

With the theme “Bawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal, at Galing Para sa Bayan,” Samuel proudly represented TanSci on the regional stage, showcasing his ability to communicate ideas with conviction and purpose.

INSET 2026 Strengthening Practice, Empowering Educators

Learning never stops, especially for those who inspire learning every day.

Tanay National Science High School conducts its two-day In-Service Training (INSET) for Teachers 2026 on September 10–11, 2026, bringing together teaching and non-teaching personnel for meaningful professional learning and collaboration.

The training focuses on strengthening our capacity to promote Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and learner well-being, enhancing our understanding of mental health and psychosocial well-being, deepening our application of the ILAW Lesson Plan format, and developing competencies in curriculum strengthening, robotics education, and school safety and emergency preparedness.

Through engaging discussions, collaborative activities, and shared experiences, our educators continue to grow in knowledge, skills, and practice, all toward creating a safer, more responsive, and more effective learning environment for every TanScian.

Congratulations to Genesis Noah S.J. Lacson and Prince Aljhur Mendoza, under the guidance of Ma'am Olivia Escarmosa and Ma'am Suzette Dacles for placing 5th Place in the Division Festival of Talents – Read-a-thon English Advocacy Pitch on September 12, 2026!

Congratulations as well to our Division Qualifier in the Division Mathsiklaban Quiz Bee 2026, Simon Paul Mawili under the guidance of Sir Raymark Bermudo!
