ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON AUGUST 20

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 131, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on August 20, 2026:

📍 National Capital Region (NCR)
📍 Abra
📍 Benguet
📍 Ilocos Norte
📍 Ilocos Sur
📍 La Union
📍 Pangasinan
📍 Bataan
📍 Bulacan
📍 Nueva Ecija
📍 Pampanga
📍 Tarlac
📍 Zambales
📍 Batangas
📍 Cavite
📍 Laguna
📍 Rizal
📍 Occidental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes and learning continuity measures at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) workers placed under alternative work arrangements shall be paid their corresponding wages or salaries, subject to applicable rules and regulations.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

Dahil sa inaasahang epekto ng pagpapatuloy ng habagat at sa posibilidad ng pagtaas ng tubig sa mga ilog, partikular sa mga upland areas na susceptible sa pagbaha, SHIFT TO AMDL ang lahat ng antas, public at private schools, August 19, 2026 (Miyerkules ).

📚 Ang mga klase ay ililipat sa Alternative Modes of Delivery (AMDL) upang maipagpatuloy ang pagkatuto habang inuuna ang kaligtasan ng ating mga learners, teaching at non-teaching personnel.

Patuloy na mag-ingat at manatiling updated sa mga opisyal na abiso ng lokal na pamahalaan.

Aldea Elementary School campus journalists joined the Tanay District Schools Press Conference 2026 held at Ilaya Elementary School today, August 15, representing the school in News Writing, Photojournalism, Editorial Writing, Sports Writing, and Editorial Cartooning.

While the event is a competition, it is also a valuable learning experience for our delegates—giving them the opportunity to apply their skills, learn from the experience, and gain new knowledge in their chosen fields of campus journalism.

A meaningful first day for our young journalists as they learn, explore, and discover more about the craft of campus journalism. ✍️📷

Suspendido ang face-to-face classes sa lahat ng antas pampubliko o pribado bukas August 11, 2026 dahil sa posibilidad na pagtaas ng tubig sa ilog na maaaring magdulot ng pagbaha at mga landslide dulot ng habagat.
