July 16 | A safe and secure learning environment begins with shared responsibility, vigilance, and proactive measures that protect every learner.

In compliance with DepEd Order No. 006, s. 2026, Cayabu Integrated School successfully conducted a Surprise Bag Inspection for Grade 10 learners to promote a safe, orderly, and motivating school environment. The surprise activity was led by Ma'am Josefina Camo, Sir Gian Ollague, Ma'am Jannice Anito (Guidance Designate), together with the dedicated Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) Officers.

The inspection was carried out respectfully, fairly, and in accordance with the prescribed guidelines, emphasizing the prevention of prohibited and potentially dangerous items from entering the school premises. More than a routine security measure, the activity served as an opportunity to strengthen learners' awareness of school safety policies, discipline, responsibility, and respect for one another.

Through the collaboration of school personnel, guidance services, and student leaders, Cayabu Integrated School continues to foster a culture of safety where every learner can study with confidence and peace of mind. By working together, we create a learning environment that is secure, inclusive, and conducive to academic excellence.

Technical skills are best developed through authentic, hands-on learning experiences that prepare learners for real-world industry standards.

The EIM Regular Class of Cayabu Integrated School successfully conducted their Performance Task on the Installing of Non-Metallic Conduit and Junction Box, providing learners with the opportunity to demonstrate the knowledge, technical competencies, and practical skills they have acquired in Electrical Installation and Maintenance through the help of their class adviser Sir Christian M. Piguing.

Through this competency-based performance task, learners applied proper installation procedures, interpreted electrical layouts, observed workplace safety practices, and worked collaboratively to accomplish industry-relevant tasks. The activity strengthened not only their technical proficiency but also their critical thinking, precision, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, essential qualities expected of future electrical practitioners.

At Cayabu Integrated School, we remain committed to delivering quality Technical-Vocational Education that bridges classroom learning with real-world application. 🌿 Learning, Planting, and Growing Together 🌿

Our Grade 9 and Grade 10 learners actively participated in the Hands-On Preparation of Growing Media as part of the Gulayan sa Paaralan Program. Through this meaningful activity, students gained practical skills in preparing quality growing media while developing responsibility, teamwork, and appreciation for sustainable gardening.

Special thanks to our dedicated facilitators, Sir Gian Ollague and Ma'am Marisa SirAm Anastacio , for sharing their expertise and guiding our learners every step of the way.

Together, we continue to cultivate not only healthy gardens but also lifelong learning and environmental stewardship.

Cayabu Integrated School successfully conducted the First Summative Test for Term 1, School Year 2026–2027, demonstrating our commitment to quality, accurate, and learner-centered assessment.

Through the utilization of 𝙀𝙫𝙖𝙡𝘽𝙚𝙚, we continue to embrace innovation in education by ensuring faster, more efficient, reliable, and data-driven checking of learners' answer sheets. This technology supports teachers in making informed instructional decisions while providing timely feedback that enhances learning outcomes.

The results of the assessment will undergo systematic analysis and interpretation to identify learners' strengths and areas for improvement. These data will serve as the basis for evidence-based decision-making, the development of targeted intervention and remediation programs, and the enhancement of teaching strategies to ensure that every learner receives the appropriate support needed to succeed.
