The PEAC strongly urges the immediate approval of the Basic Education Voucher Program Act that will be critical in strengthening access to quality education and ensuring the continuity of government assistance for millions of Filipino learners, most especially the expansion of the subsidy program to include K-6 learners.

The PEAC has consistently supported the proposed legislation and emphasized the importance of sustaining policy direction, preserving implementation continuity, and ensuring institutional stability that will contribute to the long-term success of the program.

DepEd releases DO 12, s. 2026 or the Government Recognition of Private Basic Education Institutions Offering the Senior High School (SHS) Program. The DO establishes the ​standard process for the recognition of SHS programs, including eligibility criteria, mandatory documentary requirements, and validation procedures.

DepEd releases DO 11, s. 2026 or the Revised Guidelines on the Implementation of Expanded Government Assistance to Students and Teachers in Private Education (E-GASTPE) in the Department of Education. The DO harmonizes and updates existing policies governing the implementation of the Educational Service Contracting (ESC), Teachers' Salary Subsidy (TSS), and Senior High School Voucher Program (SHS VP).
