As we close our 1st term, let us pause and appreciate our His Care Phoenix teachers who continue to work diligently—checking outputs, assessing performance tasks, computing grades, and carefully completing every learner’s academic record. 📝💙
Behind every grade is a story.
A story of lessons taught.
A story of mistakes corrected.
A story of effort, progress, struggles, and growth.
And behind it all is a teacher who chose to care.
Under DepEd Order No. 015, s. 2026 — Revised Guidelines on Classroom Assessment, Grading System, and Awards and Recognition for the K to 12 Basic Education Program, assessment is not merely about producing a number. It is a continuous process of gathering meaningful evidence of learning, providing feedback, identifying learning needs, and helping teachers make informed decisions to support learner progress.
That is why grading is more than computation.
It is about recognizing what a learner has learned, understanding where the learner still needs support, and creating opportunities for that learner to grow.
