One Nation, One Hope 🇵🇭

This day, June 12, we celebrate the independence of the Philippines and the bravery of our national heroes who fought for our nation and ignited the freedom of our country.

In commemoration of Independence Day, many Filipinos gather in some places to pay respect and tribute to the sacrifices that our remarkable heroes made for the country. State ceremonies that shaped the nation’s history are held in Kawit, Cavite—the birthplace of Philippine Independence. Furthermore, at Luneta Park, Manila, Filipinos celebrate their identity by having civic-military parades and patriotic ceremonies.

With this, may our sovereignty sound louder in action more than in celebration—a way to protect and empower every Filipino, a recognition for those heroes who left a legacy, and for the betterment of our nation.

May we be reminded that we always have the power to stand for what is right, to use our voices for a change, and to open our eyes and hope for a better future by embracing it with love, equality, and peace.

Let’s continue to firmly stand together, help one another, reinforce unity, and treasure our liberties to build a brighter tomorrow. 🙌

Eid al-Adha is a holiday recognized nationwide as it is one of the most important dates on the Islamic calendar. This day, May 27, we commemorate the Feast of Sacrifice, honoring prophet Ibrahim—one of the greatest prophets in Islam, and reflecting on the deep cultural meaning behind this occasion.

In celebrating this sacred tradition, it reminds us of the spirit of sacrifice and obedience to God. Having this significant time, most Muslims gather in a mosque to attend and offer a special and holy prayers as part of their values.

May we all acknowledge this sacred day to reinforce unity and peace among our families, our community, our nation, and most especially, our Muslim brothers and sisters.

Let this blessed day inspire our hearts with faith, love, compassion, and be filled with gratitude and reflection.

Eid’l Adha Mubarak!

In every farewell lies the beginning of something new. On May 18, the send-off party of The Fortress became a heartfelt celebration as the seniors of our club shared their final moments with the remaining members.

Throughout the event, tummies were full, laughter echoed inside the room, and heartfelt goodbyes were shared—reflecting the friendships, memories, and experiences formed within the organization over the year.

It was not only a time to honor the beloved seniors, but also a celebration of the strong bond and unity built within the club. As one chapter closes, another begins as we welcomed the new heads of our committees who will continue to uphold the integrity and ignite the transparency of The Fortress.
