We are especially delighted to reunite with our esteemed guests from 𝗜𝗔𝗜𝗡 𝗞𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗶 as we continue strengthening academic and cultural partnerships between Indonesia and the Philippines.

The program introduces the BIPA initiative to higher education institutions in IRO CALABARZON, promotes collaboration in Indonesian language education, strengthens educational and cultural cooperation, and provides information on scholarship opportunities, student exchange programs, and academic partnerships with Indonesian institutions.

As part of the Official Visit of the Delegation from 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗮 𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗺 𝗡𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗶 (𝗜𝗔𝗜𝗡) 𝗞𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗶, 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗮, La Consolacion College Tanauan and La Consolacion College Biñan conducted a lecture under the theme, "𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘼𝙎𝙀𝘼𝙉 𝘼𝙘𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙘 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥𝙨: 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙑𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙄𝘼𝙄𝙉 𝙆𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙧𝙞 𝘿𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙇𝘾𝘾-𝙏𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙪𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙇𝘾𝘾-𝘽𝙞ñ𝙖𝙣." 🇮🇩🇵🇭

The program commenced with an opening prayer led by Ms. Cleo Madia, Religious Services & Campus Ministry Director, followed by a prayer offered by the IAIN Kendari delegates and the singing of the Philippine and Indonesian National Anthems. The delegates and participants were formally welcomed through the Welcome Remarks delivered by Sr. Mary Eden L. Gicana, OSA, President of La Consolacion College Biñan.

The academic exchange featured two insightful lectures delivered by distinguished delegates from IAIN Kendari. Dr. Abdul Kadir, M.Pd. presented his research lecture, introduced by Mrs. Julimar Turingan, Research and Publications Director, entitled "𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘐𝘯𝘧𝘭𝘶𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘘𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘞𝘰𝘳𝘬 𝘓𝘪𝘧𝘦 (𝘘𝘞𝘓) 𝘰𝘯 𝘌𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘰𝘺𝘦𝘦𝘴' 𝘖𝘳𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘻𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘪𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵." This was followed by a guest lecture by Muh. Kurniawan Rachman, M.Pd., introduced by Dr. Alona B. Cabrera, External Affairs and Linkages Director, entitled "𝘌𝘯𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘛𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘧𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘐𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘴: 𝘈 𝘙𝘦𝘧𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘯 𝘎𝘶𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘓𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘌𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦."

One of the highlights was the 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 (𝗠𝗢𝗨), signifying the shared commitment of La Consolacion College Tanauan, La Consolacion College Biñan, and IAIN Kendari to strengthen international academic cooperation. The partnership aims to promote mutual understanding, academic, cultural and scientific thought, and personnel exchange.

The program concluded with the Closing Remarks delivered by Dr. Juan L. Matanguihan, College Dean, who expressed gratitude to the delegates and participants.

This official visit marks another milestone in strengthening ASEAN academic partnerships, fostering the exchange of knowledge and best practices, and creating transformative opportunities for students, faculty, researchers, and academic leaders through meaningful international collaboration.

LA CONSOLACION COLLEGE TANAUAN and LA CONSOLACION COLLEGE BIÑAN successfully hosted the 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗢𝗜𝗟 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, held on June 2, 2026, at Bravo Tanauan Hotel. 🌏

The conference brought together educators, academic leaders, and international partners to advance the practice of Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) in Philippine higher education. With the theme, “𝗖𝗢𝗜𝗟 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴: 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻,” the event highlighted the importance of internationalization, cross-cultural collaboration, and global engagement.

The conference featured inspiring messages from educational leaders, insightful discussions on internationalization and COIL practices by Dr. Rogelio T. Galera Jr., 𝘙𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘋𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘊𝘏𝘌𝘋 𝘙𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘐𝘝-𝘈; Dr. Christine Nabor-Ferrer, 𝘋𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘊𝘏𝘌𝘋-𝘐𝘈𝘚; and Dr. Polly Barr, 𝘎𝘶𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘓𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘳 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘜𝘯𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘉𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘭, as well as engaging open forums, cultural presentations, and student testimonials showcasing the transformative impact of global virtual collaboration. The event reaffirmed the commitment of LCC Tanauan and LCC Biñan to advancing global learning and strengthening international academic partnerships.
