ANNOUNCEMENT

Relative to the Proclamation No. 922, s. 2020 of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte declaring a State of Public Health Emergency throughout the Philippines due to the national threat and confirmed local transmission cases of COVID-19, the City Government hereby declares the suspension of classes in all levels of public and private schools in the entire City of Tanauan from March 13-14, 2020. This is to facilitate the disinfection of the educational institutions and public places as part of the appropriate measures to repel such threat.

Also, citizens are further advised to practice daily preventive measures such as frequent hand washing, use of alcohol-based sanitizers, covering of mouth with tissue while coughing or sneezing, refraining from touching one’s face, staying at home when sick, seeking medical assistance during manifestation of symptoms, getting enough sleep, social distancing and eating a well and balanced diet.
