Engineering Department of Eastern Visayas State University-Tanauan Campus successfully held its Team Building 2026 at Hidden Resort, Sta. Cruz, Tanauan, Leyte on June 4, 2026.

Through strategic planning sessions and engaging team-building activities, students and officers from ACES, PICE, SITeS, IIEE, and DEFAS came together to strengthen collaboration, foster camaraderie, and build meaningful connections within the Engineering Department community.

As one department, we continue to grow, lead, and work hand in hand toward a shared vision of excellence.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | The Engineering Department of Eastern Visayas State University-Tanauan Campus (EVSU-TC) kickstarted Day 2 of the Engineering Expo with a morning session followed by the Fellowship Night & Testimonial Dinner for newly licensed engineers at the EVSU-TC Multi-purpose Hall, May 19.

The morning session opened with remarks from SITEs President Princess Jhade B. Salinas, followed by a welcoming message from Assigned Head Faculty Mr. Greg S. Campos. The morning concluded with engineering students actively participating in an energetic "Amazing Race" challenge.

Transitioning to the evening, the exclusive departmental fellowship began with an opening message from Engineering Department Head Engr. Vicente D. Carillo Jr., honoring the new licensed engineers. Keynote speakers Engr. Lalaine M. Verecio, Engr. John Aron Reyneba, and Engr. Justin D. Olanoza delivered powerful messages of encouragement to inspire students on their engineering journeys.

The celebration also featured the lively "Engineering Babe" pageant and Q&A portion, culminating in the awarding of certificates and a celebratory disco session aimed at strengthening camaraderie across the department.

⚙️✨ 𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐎 𝐕.𝟒.𝟏 — 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟏 ✨⚙️

The first day of Engineering Expo V.4.1 commenced with great enthusiasm and inspiration at the EVSU-TC Multi-Purpose Hall, bringing together students, faculty, and guests in a celebration of innovation and engineering excellence.

Guided by the theme, “Connecting Minds, Constructing Systems and Electrifying Innovations,” the opening program featured insightful keynote addresses from our distinguished resource speakers, Engr. Jan Zyron D. Aures and Mr. Panfilo P. Macantan, whose valuable perspectives encouraged students to continue pursuing creativity, technical competence, and leadership in their chosen fields.

The day also included opening remarks from Nichole Ashley G. Gamez, ACES President; a welcoming message from Engr. Vicente D. Carillo Jr., Head of the Engineering Department; student performances; the awarding of certificates; ribbon-cutting of the output display and study lounge; and the presentation of student outputs that showcased the hard work and ingenuity of our future engineers and IT professionals.

The afternoon session was filled with interactive games and activities that strengthened camaraderie and teamwork among participants.

Day 1 of Engineering Expo V.4.1 set a strong foundation for a meaningful and inspiring celebration of knowledge, collaboration, and innovation.
