Accenture Inc. Donates 45 Laptops to Bernardo Lirio Memorial Central School to Strengthen Digital Learning

Bernardo Lirio Memorial Central School (BLMCS) expressed deep gratitude and appreciation as Accenture Inc. formally turned over 45 laptops to the institution on May 14,2026. This meaningful donation came as a result of the school’s active and dedicated participation in the Khan Academy program.
As one of the most active schools using the Khan Academy platform, BLMCS was well-known for its persistent efforts to incorporate digital resources to enhance learning, particularly in enhancing reading and numeracy abilities. Seeing the school's dedication and promise, Khan Academy sought out a partner company with a similar goal of using technology to empower students. Accenture Inc., a business well-known for its assistance with digital transformation and education, enthusiastically took the call and decided to back the school's project.
During the turnover ceremony, the atmosphere was filled with appreciation as representatives from Accenture, school officials and teachers, gathered to witness the milestone. The donated units are intended to be used primarily for Khan Academy classes, numeracy intervention activities, and other technology-assisted lessons that will help students master their subjects and develop essential digital skills.
Mr. Esteban M. Castillo, the school principal expressed his heartfelt thanks to both Accenture Inc. and Khan Academy for choosing their school as a beneficiary. Representatives from Accenture also shared their happiness in being part of the school’s journey. They emphasized that supporting education is one of their priorities, and they are proud to partner with institutions like BLMCS that are passionate about providing quality learning to every child.
Teachers handling the program also expressed their gratitude, noting that with more equipment available, more students will have the chance to experience interactive and engaging learning sessions regularly. Guidelines on the proper use, monitoring, and maintenance of the laptops were also discussed to ensure that the equipment will serve the school for a long time.
This achievement stands as proof that when schools show dedication and stakeholders lend a helping hand, great things happen for the benefit of the youth. With thankful hearts, the entire BLMCS community commits to taking good care of the donation and using it to bring out the best in every learner.

BAYANIHAN CONTINUES….

Turning commitment into action, members of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) once again proved their dedication to community service as they came together for a meaningful clean-up activity at the local school on May 20, 2026. Under the guidance of Ma’am Lorena Opena and the leadership of Purok coordinators Aracelly San Juan, Rea Din, and Myla Katigbak, the volunteers focused their efforts on key areas: the side of the Grade 1 building near the gate, and the grounds at the back of the school surrounding the new buildings, working tirelessly to ensure a safer and cleaner environment for everyone.
Before the activity began, the targeted areas were littered with dry leaves, scattered debris and overgrown grass. It was a long, hard day of effort and cooperation, but the transformation was highly evident: the side of the Grade 1 building and the grounds behind the new buildings were cleared of waste, swept clean, made neat and presentable. 4PS: Partners in Progress, Partners in Cleanliness, Partners in Service

A center of cooperation and service was established at Bernardo Lirio Memorial Central School last May 18-19, 2026 as members of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) gathered for a meaningful clean-up drive aimed at maintaining order and cleanliness within the school premises. Welcomed and guided by Ma’am Charina Cayoyong, a grade 2 teacher in the said school, the activity brought together parents and beneficiaries who willingly offered their time and effort to ensure that the campus remains a safe, healthy, and conducive place for learning. With brooms, rags, and cleaning materials in hand, they worked together to sweep the grounds, clear and tidy up classroom pathways.
Leading the initiative and ensuring smooth operations were spearheaded by the dedicated Purok Leaders: Melanie Delgado, Clariza Alarcon, Jobelle Perillia, and Marilou Villanueva. They took charge of supervising their respective members, assigning tasks, and monitoring the progress in every area to ensure efficiency and safety. Under their leadership and the careful supervision and encouragement of Mam Cayoyong, the group moved from one area to another, removing accumulated trash, dry leaves, and scattered debris. They also cleaned up the vacant lot where the Marcos-type classroom once stood. Moreover, they cleaned the gardens outside the classrooms, removed dry weeds, and swept the area thoroughly. Ma’am Cayoyong expressed her gratitude and appreciation for their collective dedication, emphasizing that their contribution goes beyond cleaning—it sets a positive example for the students and strengthens the bond between the school and the community. “Ang inyong presensya at pagsisikap ngayon ay nagpapakita na tayo ay nagkakaisa sa pangangalaga sa ating paaralan, na siyang pangalawang tahanan ng ating mga anak.” she stated, acknowledging the important role of the leaders in uniting everyone toward a common goal.
The effort was also highly commended by the School Principal, Mr. Esteban M. Castillo, who extended his deepest gratitude to all participants and leaders for their unwavering support and commitment. He emphasized that such collaboration plays a vital role in creating a better learning environment for every pupil. “Pinararangalan at pinasasalamatan namin kayo sa makabuluhang gawaing ito, na lalong nagpapatibay ng ating samahan bilang isang pamayanang nagkakaisa para sa kapakanan ng ating mga mag-aaral.”, he added. Furthermore, all faculty members expressed their sincere appreciation and gratitude to the 4Ps members, acknowledging that their hard work and volunteerism greatly help the school administration and contribute to creating a better learning environment for every pupil.
The said activity was more than just a duty for the 4Ps members and their purok leaders; it was a means of giving back and exhibiting the genuine spirit of collaboration. 4PS members are delighted to be a part of creating a clean and well-maintained school environment because they are firm believers that it is essential to every student's education and wellbeing. It was highly evident that their assistance had a significant impact as the event concluded with glittering surroundings and brighter amenities. They proved once again that they are true partners in progress, partners in cleanliness, and partners in service in the community they belong to.
