𝗦𝗜𝗙𝗘 𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗟 𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗟𝗬 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) Organization successfully held its General Assembly on September 9, 2026, at EVSU-TC Inner Court, bringing together members and leaders from its five pillars: 𝗝𝗣𝗜𝗔, 𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗢𝗔, 𝗧𝗔𝗝𝗠𝗔, 𝗝𝗔𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗡, & 𝗨𝗧𝗛𝗬𝗣.🤝

The assembly provided a valuable opportunity for open discussion, consultation, and joint decision-making on the organization’s Proposed Budget Allocation and suggested amendments to the Constitution and By-Laws (CBL).

A key highlight of the gathering was the discussion and voting on the proposed changes to the organization’s contribution system. Members had the chance to express their preferences among three proposed options:

A. Pro-Rata Contribution Based on Organization Population — 328 votes
B. 35% Contribution with Fundraising Support — 196 votes
C. Retention of the 50% Contribution with Installment Payment — 47 votes

The voting process emphasized the importance of giving members a voice in decisions that directly affect the organization. It also reflected SIFE’s commitment to transparency, participation, and collective decision-making in shaping its policies and future direction.

Additionally, the General Assembly included discussions on SIFE’s upcoming projects, programs, and activities, laying the groundwork for initiatives to strengthen collaboration among the five pillars and create meaningful opportunities for BEM students.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the presidents and officers of JPIA, PASOA, TAJMA, JASPEN, and UTHYP for their cooperation, assistance, and invaluable support throughout the assembly. We are equally grateful to all members who attended and actively participated in the discussions and voting. Your involvement made this assembly more meaningful and productive.

📢 OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

SIFE GENERAL ASSEMBLY 2026

The SIFE Organization will hold its General Assembly on September 9, 2026 (Wednesday), from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the EVSU-TC Inner Court.

The following organizations are required to attend, including all their members:

• JPIA

• PASOA

• TAJMA

• JASPEN

• UTHYP

Attendance will be closely monitored! All members are expected to be present and actively participate in the General Assembly.

IMPORTANT MATTERS TO BE DISCUSSED

The General Assembly will cover the following matters:

1. Proposed Amendment to the CBL

The assembly will discuss the existing CBL provision requiring a 50% contribution of funds to SIFE. In response to members' concerns and suggestions, the assembly will present a proposed amendment to this provision and vote on it.

2. Upcoming Projects and Activities

The organization will present and discuss upcoming projects, programs, and activities for the coming months, including key schedules and member organizations' participation.

3. Other Matters

The assembly will also address other relevant organizational concerns, updates, and matters for discussion.

YOUR PRESENCE MATTERS.

Your attendance is especially important, as the General Assembly will allow members to stay informed, voice concerns, participate in discussions, and vote on matters that may affect the organization and its member organizations.

We encourage everyone to attend on time and participate actively in this important assembly.
