Planting Trees, Growing Stewards: LCK and ACES for a Greener Future

Our school actively participated in the tree planting activity initiated by the Apo Jose Catholic Educational System (ACES) as a part of its outreach project promoting environmental stewardship.
The activity began with the blessing of seedlings led by Fr. Peter Albino, our school chaplain. During the flag ceremony, a short liturgy was also held to remind everyone of their responsibility to care for God’s creation.Afterward, the seedlings were distributed to the students. Some brought and planted their seedlings at home while others planted them in designated areas within the school.
The activity provided students with a meaningful opportunity to experience stewardship in action. Through planting and caring of trees, they learned that protecting the environment is a shared responsibility. More than simply planting seedlings, the activity encouraged students to value nature, care for God’s creation and contribute to a greener and healthier community.

LCK continues to nurture not only knowledgeable learners but also responsible stewards of creation.

Teachers are the Choreographers of Hope.

Last August 11, 2026, three teachers from LCK joined the CEAP 3 Regional Assembly held at Holy Angel University, Angeles City, Pampanga, with the theme, “Newness in Catholic Education: Charting a Constellation of Hope.”

Teachers from across the region gathered to listen to distinguished speakers who shared insights on timely and relevant issues in education and the academe. More than a gathering of educators, the assembly became an opportunity to learn, reflect, connect, and rediscover the mission of Catholic education.

As teachers, we do more than teach lessons we inspire, guide, and help shape a future filled with hope. Together, let us continue to choreograph a brighter future for our learners.

May the Sacred Heart of Jesus continue to bless our school community with love, compassion and unwavering faith.

At LCK, learning never stops. Together, we continue to learn, grow, and succeed—rain or shine.

Our learners remain committed to their education through distance learning—some diligently accomplishing their printed worksheets at home, while others actively participating in their online classes. This reflects the dedication of our students, the support of our parents, and the unwavering commitment of our teachers to ensure that education continues under all circumstances.
