Construction of the covered court at the University of Camarines Norte (UCN) Labo Campus is now underway, marking a significant step in the University's continuing efforts to strengthen its learning environment through improved infrastructure that will provide the campus with a dedicated venue for academic, athletic, and community activities.
SUC President III Atty. Ryan L. Estevez, DPA, conducted a site inspection together with Labo Campus Administrator Dr. Arden Peejay L. Ezaki and Planning Coordinator/Pollution Control Officer Engr. Jesus Mark C. Nape to monitor the initial phase of the project's implementation.
A first of its kind in UCN Labo Campus, the multi-purpose covered court, once completed, is expected to serve students, faculty members, personnel, and stakeholders by providing an all-weather facility for university programs, sports events, assemblies, cultural activities, and other institutional or community functions.
The project is a construction of a multi-purpose building (covered court) in UCN Labo Campus, Labo, Camarines Norte and is an infrastructure initiative of Camarines Norte 1st District Representative Congresswoman Josefina B. Tallado.
The Administration conveys its wholehearted appreciation for the assistance extended by the good Congresswoman Tallado not only in helping the University secure the much needed infrastructure but also in recognizing the value of sustained collaboration among national government officials, implementing agencies, and the University in improving educational facilities for the Labo Campus community.
The University is looking forward to the project's completion and its' eventual use by the campus community advancing the University's vision of bringing education from classroom to community.
