ARRIBA, ARAL ESKWELA SA DOMINGO-JOVITA!

The first day of the 2nd week of the Aral Summer Program at Domingo-Jovita Rodriguez Memorial School continues to ignite excitement, determination, and passion for learning among our Aral learners and tutors!

With hype and grit, learners actively participated in engaging reading and mathematics sessions filled with interactive games, collaborative activities, and fun-filled challenges designed to strengthen their literacy and numeracy skills. Through every lesson, smile, and activity, our learners continue to show perseverance and enthusiasm in becoming better readers, thinkers, and problem-solvers.

The dedication of our tutors and the eagerness of our learners prove that learning never stops when hearts are driven by purpose and teamwork. Indeed, every activity becomes a stepping stone toward growth, confidence, and success.

At Domingo-Jovita Rodriguez Memorial School, the ARAL Summer Program is carefully planned and implemented to ensure that every learner receives the right support they need to grow in Reading and Mathematics. With well-structured activities, targeted interventions, and continuous monitoring, the program is designed to address learners’ individual needs and strengthen their foundational skills.

Through the dedication of teachers, tutors, and parents, each learning experience is thoughtfully prepared to make learning meaningful, engaging, and effective for all ARAL learners.

In the first day, the 2026 ARAL Summer Program officially opened with an orientation attended by the parents of incoming Grades 2–7 learners identified through the 2025–2026 End-of-School-Year Assessments for both ARAL Reading and ARAL Mathematics.

The orientation received positive responses from parents and learners as they were welcomed by School Head Ike Dominic Jalwin, Teacher-In-Charge Analyn Casumlong, and volunteer tutors Ariane and Regie.

The following day, the learners enthusiastically participated in the start of the pre-assessments and enjoyable learning activities facilitated by the tutors. Through interactive games and collaborative tasks, learners actively engaged and showed excitement in their learning journey.

Ending the first week of continuous learning, a Learning Action Cell (LAC) Session was conducted together with Teacher-In-Charge, Analyn Casumlong focusing on reviewing learners’ activities, monitoring their progress, and following up on the home learning activities assigned to the learners and checking on the tutors' experiences. The session highlighted collaboration and continuous support to ensure effective learning throughout the program.

Together, we continue to make learning fun, meaningful, and accessible for every learner!

Learning Kits and Desktop Computers Turned Over to DJRMS

Domingo-Jovita Rodriguez Memorial School recently received learning kits and desktop computers from the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, made possible through the efforts of Sir Ike Dominic Jalwin, Head Teacher III of the school, and the recommendation of former school head Sir Isagani Fernando and his wife, Mrs. Suzette Fernando.

The donated learning kits and computers aim to support the academic needs of learners, particularly struggling readers, by providing additional learning resources and improving access to technology for more effective teaching and learning.

The school community expresses its heartfelt appreciation to the Church and its generous members, especially Mr. and Mrs. Arceo for reaching out to the school, for their kindness and support in helping provide better educational opportunities for the learners of DJRMS.
