Held today, July 26, 2026, this event was brought to life by Dumlog Action Kabataan Scholars — thank you for your hard work and dedication in facilitating this activity. A big salute as well to our SK Council for your constant guidance and unwavering support that made everything possible! 🤝

MECHANICS
1. Participants will compete in teams of five (5) members.
2. Open to all youth residents of Barangay Dumlog, aged 15-25 years old.
3. Each team will be given a P500 subsidy to purchase fruits and vegetables. The subsidy will be released one (1) day before the competition.
4. Each team is responsible for bringing its own table, utensils, and materials (e.g., chopping board, knife, peeler, etc.) needed for the competition.
5. Each team shall prepare one (1) fruit and vegetable charcuterie board.
6. Each team's charcuterie board must include fruit or vegetable carving.
7. Teams will be given one (1) hour to prepare and decorate their charcuterie board.
8. After the preparation period, teams will be given five (5) minutes to prepare for their presentation.
9. Each team will present its fruit and vegetable charcuterie board.

𝗗𝗔𝗞𝗦 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗗𝗦𝗦𝗟 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝘂𝗺𝗼𝗴 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻!

From the sweat of the 𝐃𝐮𝐦𝐥𝐨𝐠 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐞 to the 𝐃𝐮𝐦𝐨𝐠 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥, the Dumlog Aksyon Kabataan Scholars, together with the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Dumlog, thrive through these tiring yet worth-a-million-sweat events.

As a result of these events, youths formed friendships, developed leadership skills, and deepened their commitment to community service. Through every experience shared together, they flourish, support one another, and become more active and responsible youths of the community.

𝗗𝘂𝗺𝗹𝗼𝗴 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 — 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂?

On February 21, 𝗗𝘂𝗺𝗹𝗼𝗴 𝗔𝗸𝘀𝘆𝗼𝗻 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀 also known as (DAKS) gathered not just for a meeting, but for direction.

From𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗮𝗹 securing our 𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, to the ₱𝟱𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗯𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 for 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀. This organization is no longer just an idea. It is structured. It is prepared. It is moving.

We mapped out our 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀, 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗱𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 and 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗗𝘂𝗺𝗼𝗴 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, and 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 as mandated by our by-laws.

Scholars. Leadership transition. Community action. Accountability.

𝗪𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻’𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵. 𝗪𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗱 𝘂𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝘁.

𝗗𝘂𝗺𝗹𝗼𝗴 𝗔𝗸𝘀𝘆𝗼𝗻 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 also known as DAKS, started the month with action through our Coastal Clean-Up Drive. More than cleaning our shoreline, we strengthened our commitment to serve, lead, and protect our community.

This is what being a Dumlog scholar means, not just receiving support, but giving back with purpose.

A Joint Committee Meeting has been scheduled for February 19th to finalize the ordinance and ensure our youth have the support they need to pursue their education.

This isn't just a meeting; it’s about making sure our student assistance program is officially adopted and legally protected. When a program becomes an ordinance, it means it’s here to stay. It ensures that the budget is set in stone and that the youth of Dumlog will always have a partner in their education.

By transitioning DAKS into an ordinance (Ordinance No. 03-05), we are ensuring that the program is not just a temporary project, but a permanent law. This guarantees:
