PESO SMART LAUNCHING PROGRAM | A SUCCESSFUL BEGINNING!
On July 30, 2025, Catabla Baybay Elementary School proudly launched the PESO SMART Program in partnership with Manulife, Peso Smart, and the Corazon Atayde Memorial Foundation—a meaningful milestone graced by Ma'am Margaux Atayde, Partnership Director, and Ma'am Edna Odsinada, Project Manager. With powerful messages were also given by Dr. Myline A. Cornel, PSDS of Talisay District I, and Hon. Jubert Malaga, Barangay Zone 3 Kagawad – Committee on Education.
This initiative marks a powerful step in nurturing financial literacy among our learners, parents, and teachers, helping them build smart habits and stronger futures.
Together with Peso Smart Coordinator-Ma'am Mary Joy A. Hilado, Peso Smart Teacher Facilitator-Ms. Aira Joy P. Legaspi and Ma'am Mechelle A. Anggong. With the full and unwavering support of CBES beloved School Head- Ma'am Evangeline R. Braza.

Brigada Eskwela 2025 sa Catabla Baybay Elementary School

Ginaimbitahan ang tanan nga miyembro sang komunidad — mga ginikanan, kabataan, kag mga boluntaryo — nga mag-upod sa aton Brigada Eskwela nga pagahiwaton sa Hunyo 9 tubtob 13, 2025.

Ang aton pormal nga paglusad kag programa para sa unang adlaw (Hunyo 9, 2025) mangin sa 7:30 tubtob 10:00 sang aga. Pagkatapos sang programa, magsugod na kita sa pagbahin sang oras kag bulig para sa pagpahamtang kag paglimpyo sang aton mga classroom kag palibot sang eskwelahan.

Mga kinahanglanon nga dal-on:

1. Trapo
2. Silhig nga bukog
3. Paypay nga silhig
4. Kag iban pa nga gamit nga pwede magamit sa paglimpyo

Gina-awhag gid ang tanan nga magbulig, bangod ini isa ka mahinalung-on nga tikang para sa kaayuhan sang aton mga estudyante kag sang bilog nga komunidad sang CBES.

Celebrating Teacher's Day is more than just a formal occasion; it is an opportunity to recognize the tireless efforts, dedication, and passion of educators who, despite challenges, remain committed to their learners' growth and development.

The celebration of Teacher's Day serves as a momentous reminder of the pivotal role that teachers play in shaping the lives of learners. It is a day dedicated to expressing gratitude and appreciation for the invaluable contributions teachers make to society. Teachers often go beyond the call of duty, fostering an environment where learners are encouraged to grow not just academically but also socially and emotionally. Recognizing these efforts publicly, through Teacher's Day celebrations, reinforces the respect and admiration teachers deserve and elevates their status in the community.

In this whole month of September to October 4, one of the innovative and meaningful activities introduced for National Teachers Day in Catabla Baybay Elementary School is "PISO Mo, PUSO ni G**o." This activity allows learners to express their appreciation for their teachers in a fun and engaging way.
The concept is simple: learners can "buy" paper hearts for a minimal amount, symbolizing their love, respect, and admiration for their favourite teachers. Each heart purchased adds to a teacher's collection, and the teacher who receives the most hearts is awarded the Learner’s Choice Award. This award is especially significant as it reflects genuine affection and appreciation from the learners, making it a true honour for any teacher.

"Piso Mo, Puso ni G**o" fosters a spirit of gratitude among learners and serves as a heartwarming reminder for teachers that their efforts are seen and valued by those they serve. The small contribution per heart allows all learners to participate, regardless of their financial capacity, and ensures that every student can show their appreciation. This activity adds a personal and heartfelt touch to the Teacher's Day celebration, making it more meaningful for both teachers and learners.

By honouring teachers, we ensure that their dedication and hard work are recognized and appreciated by the communities they serve, encouraging them to continue their invaluable role in shaping the future.
