Toall my beloved adarna cast n production staff....there has been idea from Don Juan (kuya jess) to hold a Adarna Production Reunion this coming sem break. Id like to hear your thoughts on this. I'm sure everyone misses each other. We can watch the video of it as well during the reunion. The initial idea it to hold it sa beach. We can have sort of team building and workshop system during the reunion para mas eventful ug naa pud ta productive nga mahitabo. What do u think guys?

FFL went back to the Northern Cebu Provinces to conduct another feeding program. This time we had volunteers from the entertainment industry, from TV 5's Talentadong Pinoy Hall of Famer's, Fire Attraction who also happen to be coaches of Monterey Star Academy, our Host in Cebu, as well as devotees from Davao who all came together to help out. We visited the towns of Maya (the furthest tip of Cebu Island), Talisay, Tominjao, Bitoon, Bagay, Malingin, Tinubdan, Panugnawan, Bogo, Borbon, and Sogod, distributing a total of 2000 packs of Vegetarian Macaroni.

It is clear that the state of these Northern Provinces of Cebu are still in ruins. It's been over a month since the Typhoon Yolanda hit the Visayas region but they are still in devastation. Many homes have been permanently abandoned as damages seem to be too much to bear. Many are still helpless and live in their make-shift tarp-roofed shelters. Only a few have the capability to reconstruct from the rubble. Another Feeding program geared towards the malnourished children will arranged next week to help those families who are still suffering due to poverty amidst this calamity. Kindly help us make our efforts even bigger so we can reach the mountain and hilly regions as it is harder to reach those areas. We have covered the coastal areas and plains, but we still need to reach the hilly and mountain barangays that are far from the main roads.

There are only 3 visible evacuation camps remaining between the farthest town up north, Maya and Sogod to the South despite many homeless and still without adequate shelter from the heat, cold and rains. There are still many barangays we have not reached inland, and that is where we hope to go next and also help local barangays in feeding the malnourished and dependent families.

Monterey Star Academy Launched last July and is starting its Film projects. For the our project salvo, we are shooting the Short Indie Film DIABETIKO, produced by the Cebu Filmmakers and Screen Actors Guild. It will be a feature presenter in the Binisaya Film Festival this coming November 2013, at the USC CAFA building.

Watch out as Monterey Star Academy launches it's Movie Project for Sy. 2013-2014! Hope you're the next big star in our Film Project now that Monterey School has gone to new heights and is preparing for it's Senior Year Pre-College Film Course!

Check out some of your Adarna Actors and Actresses as they take up a summer workshop in Monterey School to enhance their artitic and star qualities. They have enrolled at Monterey Star Academy under the Photo Ramp Modeling & Film Acting Course. Graduation will be on May 16. Catch them as they strut the stage during the San Isidro Town Fiesta this Mid May!

MSI Academy for the Arts Monterey Star Academy was founded in 2008 and has been committed to providing an avenue for the youth of Talisay City, to enhance and sharpen their talents and skills that may be used in future opportunities in the entertainment industry.
