We already talked to Dr. Arden Monisit about this. This is just a precaution para masigurado ang safety sa atong mga bata, teachers, and parents.

For private schools, it is up to their administrators to decide whether to cancel classes or not. The same goes for Talisay City College, where Dr. Ritchel Bacaltos will decide if classes will be canceled or not.

For schools nga under sa 10 Barangays nga currently no class as is lang gihapon ang inyong setup. Rest assured, we are finding faster ways so that we can start classes soon.

Ang Cebu Provincial Government padayon nga nagpahimangno sa publiko sa pagbantay sa mga simptomas sa leptospirosis, ilabi na kadtong nabahaan sa miaging Bagyong Tino.

Ayaw paglangan pagpakonsulta sa pinakaduol nga health facility kong kamo nakasinati sa mga simptomas sa leptospirosis.

After almost a month of online classes, we are grateful to be back to face-to-face learning. We sincerely thank the Lord for His protection and guidance throughout the recent earthquakes and typhoons.

Classes in Region VII Suspended on November 10–11 due to Super Typhoon ‘Uwan’

As we continue to monitor the weather situation, we want to remind everyone to always stay alert and prepared. Your safety and your family’s well-being are our top priority.

𝗕𝗘𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗘 the typhoon, make sure your phones and flashlights are fully charged, store enough food and clean water, and prepare your first emergency supplies.

𝗗𝗨𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 the typhoon, stay indoors and remain calm. If authorities advise evacuation, please do so immediately. Keep yourself updated through TV or radio for important announcements.

𝗔𝗙𝗧𝗘𝗥 the typhoon, always check if your house is safe before going back inside. Avoid using electrical outlets or appliances exposed to water, and help clean your surroundings.

Subject: Suspension of Face-to-Face Classes

In adherence to the directive issued by Mayor Samsam Gullas to ensure the continued safety and well-being of our students, please be informed that all face-to-face classes are hereby suspended this week until further notice.

During this period on Oct 20-24, we will continue with our asynchronous mode of learning (online class and modular).

Normal face-to-face classes shall resume upon further notice. The school community is advised to remain vigilant and to monitor official announcements for updates.

After Weighing all the options kids and after thorough discussion with 𝗗𝗿. 𝗔𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁 of the City Division Office, we have decided to 𝗦𝗨𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗗 𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗘 𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗦 𝗜𝗡 𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗣𝗨𝗕𝗟𝗜𝗖 𝗟𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗟𝗦 until further notice.

As for 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗟𝗦 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 (𝗧𝗖𝗖), the suspension of classes will be at the discretion of their respective administrators or presidents.

We understand the importance of education, but right now, 𝗦𝗔𝗙𝗘𝗧𝗬 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗦 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧. Let’s all remain calm, stay alert, and keep each other safe.
