Pooc National High School held its Installation and Turnover Ceremony yesterday, August 19, 2026, marking a new chapter in the schoolโ€™s leadership.

The school community sincerely thanks ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐Š๐ก๐š๐๐ข๐ฃ๐š๐ก ๐. ๐๐š๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐จ๐ง๐š for her service, guidance, and dedication to the school. Her leadership will always be remembered and appreciated.

The school warmly welcomes ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐„๐ซ๐ข๐ฅ๐จ๐ฎ ๐‡. ๐Œ๐จ๐ง๐๐ข๐๐จ as the new School Head. We look forward to her leadership, which will bring new opportunities, strengthen teamwork, and drive progress for our school.

The ceremony was attended by ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐€๐ซ๐๐ž๐ง ๐ƒ. ๐Œ๐จ๐ง๐ข๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ, Schools Division Superintendent of Talisay City Division, together with teachers, school personnel, student leaders, barangay officials, and members of the school community. The school rondalla also provided musical performances during the program.

The SSLG President also gave a message of support and assured ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐„๐ซ๐ข๐ฅ๐จ๐ฎ ๐‡. ๐Œ๐จ๐ง๐๐ข๐๐จ of the studentsโ€™ cooperation and support.

As part of the celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 , ๐๐จ๐จ๐œ ๐๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐š๐ฅ ๐‡๐ข๐ ๐ก ๐’๐œ๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ฅ actively participated in the two-day Basic First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) Training held last August 11โ€“12, 2026, at the Talisay Sports Academy Center.

With the active participation of our ๐’๐’๐‹๐†, ๐‹.๐Ž.๐•.๐„. members, ๐˜๐„๐’-๐Ž, and ๐’๐œ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ฌ, participants gained essential knowledge and practical skills in responding to emergencies.

First aid isn't just about treating injuries it is about staying calm, knowing what to do, and helping someone until professional medical assistance arrives. Always check for potential risks to ensure the safety of both yourself and the patient.

From proper wound care to life support techniques, the training aims to empower students and staff to respond confidently and effectively during emergencies.

Through this training, we continue to strengthen our school's preparedness and help build a safer community for everyone.

Yesterday, Pooc National High School joined the program that was held at Vicenta A. Manreal Elementary School that aimed to promote safety school and awareness to its surroundings. Students from the Elementary, Junior High School and Senior High School gathered at the VAMES school grounds with enthusiasm, energy and eagerness to listen and learn. The barangay officials, headed by the Barangay Captain Osmundo Manreal, spearheaded the program by sharing impactful and informative words towards the students.

This event marked as a meaningful initiative as it provided an opportunity for students to learn important information in maintaining a safe environment. It encouraged them to become a responsible and aware citizens. This program reminded everyone that having a safe community is a shared responsibility that requires cooperation and understanding.
