The Research and Development Services Office conducted a "Seminar-Workshop on Qualitative Data Analysis Utilizing NVivo 15" with Dr. Nicamil K. Sanchez, President and CEO of the Philippine Consortium for Social Welfare and Human Development Research, as the resource speaker.

This insightful workshop took place at the AVR, Ground Floor, LSA Building, CHMSU Talisay Campus, on March 27 & 28, 2025, equipping faculty researchers with essential skills in qualitative data analysis using NVivo 15. Participants gained valuable knowledge on efficiently managing and analyzing qualitative research data to enhance their academic and research endeavors.

RDSO Holds 3rd Quarter Local In-House Review

The Research and Development Services Office conducted the 3rd Quarter Local In-House Review for Completed Researches at Carlos Hilado Memorial State University (CHMSU) – Talisay Campus on August 29, 2024. This multidisciplinary review provided a platform for CHMSU faculty researchers to present the significant findings of their authored or co-authored studies.

A total of 33 completed research outputs were reviewed and categorized into two streams: Stream 1 (Education & Social Science Category) and Stream 2 (ICT/Technology, Engineering, Natural Science, and Education Category). The faculty researchers presented their works to a panel of experts for evaluation based on Creativity, Originality, Quality of Work, Significance of Findings, Manuscript/Write-up, and Presentation Proper.

The esteemed panelists included:
• Stream 1 (Education & Social Science Category): Dr. Ramon Clemente Martin F. Lachica (USLS), Dr. Carmen C. Menes (LCC), Dr. Ronora S. Malaga (CHMSU)
• Stream 2 (ICT/Technology, Engineering, Natural Science, and Education Category): Dr. Aragon A. Dechimo Jr. (PNU), Dr. Kristine T. Soberano (SUNN), Dr. Armando R. Reosura (CHMSU)
