Please be advised that face-to-face classes are suspended tomorrow, May 18, 2026, across all campuses due to a reported heat index of 42°C. To ensure the safety of our community while maintaining academic continuity, please observe the following arrangements:

Faculty & Students: All classes will shift to online delivery. Faculty members are advised to reach out to their students as soon as possible to provide meeting links and instructional materials.

GASS and Job Order Personnel: Reporting to work is expected as scheduled. Please take the necessary health precautions and stay hydrated while on campus.

In line with the recent announcement that the heat index will reach 42°C, the Seniors' AIM HIGH Week activities will go on as planned, and all fourth-year and graduating students are expected to actively participate in all the activities in their respective campuses.

In accordance with Article 8 of the Omnibus Election Code for Student Elections, any protest or complaint regarding the election results must be formally submitted in writing to the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) within twenty-four (24) hours after the official release of the results. All protests/complaints must clearly state the grounds and be supported by an affidavit signed by at least two (2) witnesses.

Furthermore, all elected officers are requested to kindly wait for the final schedule of the oath taking.

The month of May is declared as the "National Awareness Month" to prevent and control this disease, also for the compliance of OSH (Occupational Safety and Health Standards), RA.11058, and Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG 3), which aims to ensure good health and well-being for all.

The CHMSU-Talisay Medical Health Services will be conducting a symposium on Hypertension Awareness by actively engaging all four campuses, in collaboration with the Social Science Guild-Talisay and CHMSU DEARS on May 6, 2026. This event will be a virtual live-stream telecast via zoom link from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
