This week PAG-ASA released a 7-day Forecast/Outlook for Maximum Heat Index and the time of occurrences for Metro Cebu from April 23-30, 2023.

April 23 (Sun): Max. Heat Index = 41C at 12P.M.
April 24 (Mon): Max. Heat Index = 40C at 11A.M. to 2P.M.
April 25 (Tues): Max. Heat Index = 36C at 2P.M.
April 26 (Wed): Max. Heat Index = 38C at 11A.M. to 4P.M.
April 27 (Thu): Max. Heat Index = 40C at 1P.M.
April 28 (Fri): Max. Heat Index = 40C at 12P.M. to 3P.M.
April 29 (Sat): Max. Heat Index = 40C at 11A.M. to 3P.M.
April 30 (Sun): Max. Heat Index = 41C at 11A.M. to 3P.M.

The Department of Education (DepEd) issued a memorandum OASOPS No. 2023-077 dated April 20, 2023, and reminded the school heads of their authority to cancel face-to-face classes and implement distance learning due to unfavorable weather such as extreme heat.

In this connection we will shift to distance learning on Thursday, April 27, 2023. Likewise, we cancel the April 29, 2023, in-person Third Quarter Honors’ Assembly. The releasing of Grade Slips for the Third Quarter (JHS) and Midterm (SHS) will be on May 2, 2023. The grade slip will be given to your child respectively. The List of Honors in alphabetical order will be posted on the school’s FB page whereas the Third Quarter Ranking of Honors will be posted in the Principal’s Bulletin Board.
