๐ Special Award โ Best Innovation in Single-Use Plastic Initiative

โActing Responsibly & Reducing Impact in Breaktime Activitiesโ
To instill responsibility, hygiene, and environmental consciousness among learners through the use of reusable and washable plates and cups during recess, significantly reducing waste and minimizing our school's carbon footprint. What began as an initiative among Grade 5 learners has now become a practice embraced by the entire school community.
This achievement is more than an awardโit is proof that meaningful change happens when everyone moves together with a shared purpose. From our dedicated teachers who guided and inspired, to our hardworking utility personnel who helped sustain the program, to our supportive parents who reinforced these values at home, and most importantly, to our learners who embraced the responsibility of caring for the environmentโthis success belongs to all of you.
Just like the meaning behind A.R.R.I.B.A. we continue to move "upward and forward", rising together as one school community committed to responsible action and a greener future. Through teamwork, discipline, and shared commitment, we show that even small daily actions can create a lasting impact on our world.
Together, we rise. Together, we lead. Together, we make a difference.

In support of the Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED), Domingo-Jovita Rodriguez Memorial School actively participated in this important preparedness activity aimed at strengthening disaster awareness and emergency response among learners and school personnel.
Maโam Annie Oghayon, the School DRRM Coordinator, provided essential instructions and reminded learners of the proper safety procedures to follow during emergencies such as earthquakes. She emphasized the importance of remembering the life-saving steps: ๐๐๐ฐ๐ธ, ๐๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ, ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ผ๐น๐ฑ, as well as maintaining calmness, alertness, and discipline throughout the activity.
