Continuously learning 💪
A productive night of learning with OT Mary! ✨
We deepened our understanding of how hand reflexes influence functional hand skills — from grasp patterns and bilateral coordination to fine motor control, and even speech development.
At TSDC, our commitment to continuous learning and evidence-based practice never stops — because when we grow, our children grow too. 💛💙

Meet Geyanne, Branch Manager of Take Steps Therapy Center – Talisay Branch 💙💛
Geyanne leads the Talisay team with a strong balance of clinical expertise, compassion, and hands-on leadership. With experience as a Chief Occupational Therapist in a Community-Based Rehabilitation Center, she has managed services for underprivileged clients across the lifespan—supporting children with special needs, adolescents in skill-building programs, and adult stroke survivors.
She also brings valuable experience as a Part-Time Clinical Instructor, mentoring and supervising OT interns while ensuring quality care, proper documentation, and ethical, real-world clinical practice.
With a neuro-affirming, family-centered perspective, Geyanne ensures that both therapists and families feel supported, guided, and confident in the care provided. Under her leadership, the Talisay branch remains child-focused, collaborative, and grounded in play-based, evidence-informed practice.
