San Fernando Elementary School conducted a meaningful discussion on Regional Memorandum No. 798, focusing on the implementation of the School-Based Press Conference. The activity also included an orientation for our Key Stage 2 English and Filipino teachers, equipping them with essential information and guidance in preparation for the upcoming school-based press conference.

Through collaboration, shared expertise, and continuous professional learning, our teachers are empowered to nurture the learners’ journalistic skills, creativity, confidence, and love for language and communication. 📝🗞️

As part of the weekly PEACE Campaign of the Negros Island Region, San Fernando Elementary School launched the Kindness Wall—a simple yet meaningful activity that encourages learners to spread kindness, promote peace, and stand against bullying.

Through heartfelt notes filled with words of encouragement, gratitude, and friendship, our learners reminded one another that every act of kindness has the power to brighten someone’s day and create a safer, more caring school community.

San Fernando Elementary School proudly concluded this year’s Nutrition Month Celebration with a vibrant Best Headdress and Costume Contest, where our learners, together with the unwavering support of their parents and guardians, showcased remarkable creativity and resourcefulness.

Despite the limited time given to prepare, the participants impressed everyone with their imaginative costumes and headdresses, beautifully reflecting this year’s theme, “Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Alagaan.” Their dedication and teamwork truly proved that creativity shines even under time constraints.

Congratulations to all our participants and winners! Your passion, talent, and enthusiasm made this celebration a memorable success. Our talented learners from Kindergarten to Grade 6 showcased their creativity and understanding of the importance of proper nutrition and environmental care through their inspiring artworks and meaningful slogans. Outstanding entries were recognized and awarded for their exceptional creativity, originality, and relevance to the theme.

Creativity became a powerful voice for peace as the learners of San Fernando Elementary School actively participated in the PEACE of ART activity in line with the PEACE Campaign (Powering Empathy, Acceptance, and Connection) across schools in the Negros Island Region.

Through colorful artworks, our pupils expressed their hopes, dreams, and messages of peace, kindness, empathy, and unity. This meaningful activity provided every learner with a safe space to communicate from the heart, proving that art can inspire healing, understanding, and positive change.
