Your SSLG officers were up early and straight to work today! Aside from coordinating the volunteer tasks, we rolled up our sleeves to sweep the paths and tidy up the grass areas right outside the school gate to ensure a warm welcome for everyone.

Earlier this morning, we also celebrated the successful conclusion and awarding ceremony of the ARAL Program! This special learning camp has been incredibly vital in supporting our fellow students with their reading, writing, and academic subjects. A huge salute and thank you to Ma’am Rowena Capa, Ma’am Gladys Dela Fuente, and all our dedicated ARAL teachers for your immense patience, hard work, and for making this program a complete success!

The overall energy today was just incredible, the sweat, big smiles, and dedication in these photos say it all. Huge thanks to our amazing parents, volunteers, fellow students, teachers, and school admin for working hard alongside us under the sun.

Earlier today, we successfully held our Opening Ceremony and officially kicked off Day 1 of Brigada Eskwela 2026 here at Bulacao National High School! The true spirit of Bayanihan (communal unity) and teamwork was shining bright across our entire campus.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to our SSLG Adviser, Esteemed Teachers, and to our ever-dynamic School OIC for their exceptional leadership and guidance. We would also like to warmly acknowledge the invaluable presence of our loving parents, dedicated students, enthusiastic volunteers, and our ever-reliable Barangay Tanods. Everyone worked truly hand in hand with a single, shared goal: to prepare our school for a safer, cleaner, and more welcoming school year!

We highly encourage you to come visit our school, get enrolled, and help our community by working hand in hand in our cleaning efforts! 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐧'𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬, 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤.

From gearing up in our harnesses and helmets to trusting each other completely on the high-wire ropes, every challenge pushed us to rely on the person next to us. Whether we were listening intently to our facilitators’ instructions or sharing a laugh during the indoor icebreakers, every moment was a lesson in accountability and trust.

By joining forces with passionate SSLG leaders from other schools, we traded perspectives, built meaningful networks, and learned that student governance thrives when we collaborate across boundaries. Sitting in circles, wearing our hand-drawn camp names, and looking at the diverse faces around us made us realize that while we come from different campuses, we share the exact same heart for service.

Our school was proudly represented by our SSLG President, Vice President Internal, and Grade 12 Representative, who were incredibly guided by Ma'am Bej E. Mesias, generously stepping in to support us in place of our SSLG adviser.

We left our comfort zones in Balamban, but we’re bringing back a massive wave of energy, unity, and dedication to our beloved Bulacao NHS community! The high-fives, the shared triumphs, and the memories built against the beautiful stone walls of the camp are things we will carry forever. We arrived as individual student leaders, but we are coming home as a stronger, more united team ready to serve. 🔥

Earlier held at 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹, 𝗕𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗼, 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗕𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻 2026: “𝗖𝘂𝗺 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗛.𝗘.𝗔.𝗥.𝗧 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸” became a meaningful gathering filled with learning and youth empowerment. On behalf of the SSLG of Bulacao National High School, we are truly grateful for the opportunity to participate in this wonderful event.

This activity gave us the chance to listen, share insights, build connections, and learn more about the importance of mental and emotional well-being among the youth. We are honored to be part of a program that encourages young people to use their voices, support one another, and become responsible leaders in the community.

To the organizers, speakers, and fellow participants, thank you for creating a safe and meaningful space where every youth feels heard, valued, and empowered. Together, let us continue building a stronger and more united generation for the future.💗✨
