The AACCUP Level I Survey Visit for the programs under the College of Education and College of Engineering of Carlos Hilado Memorial State University (CHMSU) has successfully concluded, reinforcing its commitment to providing accessible, relevant, and transformative learning.
On April 27 to May 1, 2026, the accreditation covered key programs across the Talisay (Main), Alijis, and Binalbagan campuses via Zoom.
Included in this 1st Survey Visit were the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education major in Home Economics and Industrial Arts, Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education major in Home Economics, Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, and Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering.
Reaffirming CHMSU’s commitment to delivering quality education and continuous improvement, Engr. Russel M. Dela Torre, PhD, Vice President for Academic Affairs, shared valuable insights during the activity.
Leading this year’s accreditation was Dr. Maria Lady Sol A. Suazo, who served as the Overall Coordinator. In her message, she outlined the evaluation process and introduced the team of accreditors from various state universities and colleges nationwide, including Dr. Rashid Ceazar G. Ormilla, Dr. Rene G. Nanit, Prof. Vilma L. De Guzman, Prof. Jennifer I. Guevarra, Dr. Fitzgerald C. Kintanar, Engr. Abegail E. Ruiz, Dr. Ronaldo A. Bautista, Dr. Ma. Luisa M. Villanueva, Dr. Jerry I. Teleron, Dr. Christina T. Alfiler, and Dr. J***y P. Alvarez.
