Ang Buwan ng Wika ay isang mahalagang pagdiriwang na nagpapaalala sa atin na ang wikang Filipino ay hindi lamang isang paraan ng pakikipagtalastasan kundi isang mahalagang bahagi ng ating pagkakakilanlan, kultura, at kasaysayan bilang mga Pilipino. Sa pamamagitan ng ating wika, naipapahayag natin ang ating mga saloobin, pangarap, at pagmamahal sa ating bayan.

Sa temang “Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon,” ating kinikilala na ang makabagong teknolohiya, kabilang ang Artificial Intelligence (AI), ay maaaring maging katuwang sa pagpapalawak ng kaalaman at pagpapadali ng pananaliksik. Gayunpaman, nananatiling mahalaga ang paggamit ng wikang Filipino upang mapanatili ang ating kultura, mapagyaman ang ating identidad, at maipasa sa susunod na henerasyon ang ating mayamang pamana.

Nawa'y magsilbing inspirasyon ang pagdiriwang na ito upang lalo nating mahalin, gamitin, at ipagmalaki ang ating sariling wika sa tahanan, paaralan, at komunidad. Sama-sama nating itaguyod ang wikang Filipino bilang tulay sa pagkakaisa, pagkatuto, at pag-unlad ng bawat Pilipino.

The 52nd Nutrition Month in the Philippines celebrates the sub-theme: "Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan!" It highlights the link between human nutrition and environmental sustainability. The overarching theme remains: "Sa PPAN, Sama-Sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat."

This year's focus promotes climate-resilient agriculture, reducing food waste, and consuming local, nutrient-dense foods (like fish, malunggay, squash, and bananas) to ensure healthy diets and environmental conservation.

📢 Earthquake Drill Orientation and Preparedness Activity

Today, our school successfully conducted an Earthquake Drill Orientation to strengthen the awareness, preparedness, and safety of our learners, teachers, and stakeholders in times of emergencies.

Through this activity, participants learned the proper procedures before, during, and after an earthquake, including the importance of the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” technique and safe evacuation practices. This initiative reflects our commitment to creating a culture of preparedness and ensuring that everyone is equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to respond effectively during disasters.

4th Day of Opening Block: Stakeholders' Orientation
Today, Kagay Elementary School successfully conducted its Stakeholders' Orientation attended by parents, community leaders, and school partners. The meeting highlighted the current issues and concerns faced by teachers regarding the status of learners, particularly in reading proficiency and academic performance.
School Principal Mr. Yassier S. Muddala discussed the new policies under the Revised K to 10 Curriculum, including the updated classroom assessment guidelines, awards and recognition system, and other important school programs.
The activity was followed by the election of PTCA Officers for School Year 2026–2027. We were also honored by the presence of Barangay Chairwoman Sitti Runa A. Hadil, who expressed her commitment to continuously support the school, its learners, teachers, and parents.
Together, we strengthen our partnership in providing quality education and a brighter future for every child. ❤️📖
