The students from Section Ponce celebrated the feast day of St. Joseph the Worker with a get-together lunch and the Miss Gay competition.
I would like to thank the gentlemen who participated in our small pageantβClark, Joey, James, and Edwin. A special thanks to the supportive groups of these four gentlemen who put in great effort to make the contestants look beautiful. And thank you also to Janelle Avenido for making the sash of the contestants and being the host of our small celebration.
A big thank you as well to Maβam Cristina Gutierrez for sponsoring the ice cream and soft drinks!
Reminder: The Miss Gay competition is purely for fun. We do not intend to make fun of or disrespect the LGBTQ+ community in any way.
This celebration is even more special because it is our last one together before we go our separate ways after graduation. Letβs cherish these moments and make the most of the time we have left as a class.
