As we welcome another year, let’s celebrate with joy—but also with care.

Barkada Kontra Bisyo reminds everyone to be extra careful with firecrackers and explosives. A few seconds of excitement is never worth a lifetime of regret.

Let’s choose safe and responsible celebrations—no injuries, no accidents, just good memories with family and friends.

Your life and future are more important than any paputok.

From BKB, let’s welcome the New Year safe, sound, and bisyo-free.
✨ Happy New Year to everyone! ✨

From BKb to all—may this Christmas remind us that good choices lead to brighter tomorrows. 🎁🤍

With the theme “𝗦𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘀, 𝗞𝗮𝗹𝘂𝘀𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝘆 𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗻, 𝗗𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗮 𝗮𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝗮𝗮𝘆𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗻” the Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Week highlighted students’ creativity and advocacy through the 𝗧𝘂𝗹𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 and 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 competitions. Their poems carried messages of awareness, hope, and better choices, while their artworks reflected courage, prevention, and unity turning their ideas into powerful reminders of the realities of drug abuse.

Viewing the entries and presentations offered a deeper appreciation for how impactful student voices can be. The activities showed the power of expression how art and literature can shape perspectives, spark conversations, and inspire change.

As 𝘿𝘼𝙋𝘾 𝙒𝙚𝙚𝙠 2025 is remembered, may the messages in every poem and artwork continue to guide the community toward a future grounded in education, empathy, and proactive awareness. ❤️🚫💊

ARTIST: KRYSTEL IVY TORREON

My poster, inspired by the theme “Rise Above the Influence: The Youth’s Commitment to a Drug-Free Nation,” shows three young students in togas, rising toward the light of the Philippine flag. The boy in front holds a burning torch that shines on the flag’s sun—symbolizing wisdom and hope. His broken chain shows freedom from addiction, while the medal on his neck stands for success through education and discipline. Below them, a person trapped in drugs reaches for their help. This moment captures how the youth, through unity and courage, can lift others, inspire change, and lead the nation toward a drug-free future.
