Yesterday, the SPA Sining Galing Guild are grateful to the new set of Committees and Representatives of the whole SPA Curriculum nation in our School, this is just a beginning but our Committees do their ultimate best to support the safety of our School.

We like to extend our deepest gratitude to our School Principal, Sir Dennis L. Serapio, for making every decisions and Plans in our School environment and community effectively do by the Student, and Student Leaders, to our Club Adviser, Sir Glen S. Abare for making our Club Plans Organized and Guiding as for every actions that we make, and to our School Hero, our School Guards and Staffs who helped us in making sure the Inspection will flow good and successfull! 💯✨

𝐒𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐀𝐑𝐓 𝐁𝐄𝐀𝐓 🎨✨ | 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐜𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲? 𝐍𝐨, 𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥! 💫

𝐉𝐎𝐒𝐄 𝐏𝐀𝐋𝐌𝐀, The brilliant soldier-poet behind the lyrics of the Philippine National Anthem (𝙻𝚞𝚙𝚊𝚗𝚐 𝙷𝚒𝚗𝚒𝚛𝚊𝚗𝚐), lived by a 𝚏𝚒𝚎𝚛𝚌𝚎, 𝚛𝚎𝚟𝚘𝚕𝚞𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗𝚊𝚛𝚢 𝚌𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚟𝚎 𝚙𝚑𝚒𝚕𝚘𝚜𝚘𝚙𝚑𝚢. His worldview is captured best by a powerful line from his poem 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐬

Born on 𝙹𝚄𝙽𝙴 3, 1876, in 𝚃𝙾𝙽𝙳𝙾, 𝙼𝙰𝙽𝙸𝙻𝙰, 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞́ 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐚 𝐘 𝐕𝐞𝐥𝐚́𝐬𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐳 was the younger brother of 𝐑𝐚𝐟𝐚𝐞𝐥 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐚 (who later became the president of the University of the Philippines). He studied at the 𝐀𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐨 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐚, where his classmate and close friend was the legendary young general, 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐨 𝐃𝐞𝐥 𝐏𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐫.

𝐏𝐀𝐋𝐌𝐀 continued writing 𝚙𝚊𝚝𝚛𝚒𝚘𝚝𝚒𝚌 and 𝚛𝚘𝚖𝚊𝚗𝚝𝚒𝚌 𝚙𝚘𝚎𝚖𝚜(later collected in the book Melancolicas) until his health deteriorated completely. He passed away from tuberculosis on 𝙵𝚎𝚋𝚛𝚞𝚊𝚛𝚢 12, 1903, at the incredibly young age of 26. Though his life was short, 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐚'𝐬 words became immortal. Every single time a Filipino sings the national anthem, they are reciting the passionate, defiant poetry of 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞́ 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐚.

Yesterday, the TNHS Youth Environment in School Organization (YES - O) conduct a project "Tree Planting" and the SPA Sining Galing Guild are happy to represent the whole nation of SPA in accommodating the project, this aims to not just make the school community creative, but also more greener! 🏞️✨

Ang buhay ay parang isang napakagandang likhang Sining, kung saan bawat taon ay bagong kulay at detalye na nagpapaganda sa iyong buhay!
Sa bawat karanasan at alaala, ikaw mismo ang humuhubog at nagbibigay-buhay sa iyong kwento. Kaya ngayong espesyal na araw mo, nawa’y mapuno pa ng mas matingkad na kulay ng ligaya, pag-asa, at pagmamahal ang iyong mundo. Karapat-dapat kang maging pinakamagandang obra maestra, hindi lang sa paningin, kundi pati na rin sa puso!

𝐒𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐀𝐑𝐓 𝐁𝐄𝐀𝐓 🎨✨ | 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐜𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲? 𝐍𝐨, 𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥! 💫

𝐌𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐨 𝐅𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐚 is born in Arevalo, Iloilo, Figueroa faced early misfortune with the passing of his mother and a family move to Sorsogon. Yet, his dedication to his craft led him to create one of the most recognizable designs in Philippine history: the "𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐬" 𝐜𝐨𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬. His work became a daily staple of Filipino life and eventually influenced the Great Seal.

Though he passed away from 𝐭𝐮𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐬 in 1903, his artistic spirit lives on. We honor his "𝚄𝙽𝚆𝙰𝚆𝙴𝚅𝙴𝚁𝙸𝙽𝙶 𝙳𝙴𝙲𝙸𝙲𝙰𝚃𝙸𝙾𝙽 𝙰𝙽𝙳 𝚁𝙴𝚂𝙸𝙻𝙸𝙴𝙽𝙲𝙴." An artist who turned hardship into a timeless legacy. 🪙✨
