What a moment for Talavera National High School! 💙✨

Student and Research Teachers proudly represented the school at the National Basic Education School Research Congress (NBESRC 2026) held last February 27–28, 2026 at University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao in Tuguegarao City. Anchored on the theme “Research for a Sustainable and Inclusive Future,” the congress gathered brilliant minds from across the country to showcase impactful research in basic education.

We are beyond proud to celebrate Gwen Janine DG. Clauren for her outstanding research titled “NAVIGATE: Navigation Aid using Vision Impairment Integrated GPS, Arduino, Tracking, and Enhanced LiDAR,” which earned 1st Best Reseach Paper and met the high standards of relevance, clarity, and scholarly contribution expected at this national-level gathering. 👏🏆 Guided by her coach, Ma’am Jenny Rose L. Andres, this achievement truly reflects excellence in innovation and research.

Equally commendable is “Project Wave-Mac: Revolutionizing Learning Tool in Teaching Science” by Ma’am Precy S. Miranda, who formally presented her full research paper during the parallel session. Her work stands as a meaningful contribution toward strengthening the culture of research in basic education. Also present and actively participating in the congress were Research Teachers Ma'am Abegail M. Alejandro, Ma'am Lorena S. Antolin, Sir Neil S. Tolentino, and Ma’am Jenny Rose L. Andres — a strong testament to TNHS’s commitment to academic growth and collaboration.

Our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Ronaldo Pozon , Schools Division Superintendent of SDO-Nueva Ecija, Ma'am Rosemarie Burayag Sir Dennis Serapio , School Principal, and Ma’am Clarissa Manabat Mariano , Science Department Head, and TNHS Science Department for their unwavering support and leadership in championing research excellence.

Talavera NHS continues to prove that when passion meets purpose, research becomes a powerful tool for shaping a better, more inclusive future. 🌱📚
